"Why a proud duck?" Lin Xi laughed when she heard this metaphor.
Bai Tiantian snorted, "Because she doesn't deserve the metaphor of a swan; she's just a duck."
The two chatted and laughed as they arrived at Bai Tiantian's dormitory. The room was indeed nice and spacious.
“The bed and table inside are mine.” Bai Tiantian pulled Lin Xi inside.
"I brought you some food, it's in the bag," Lin Xi took out the lunchbox and placed it on Bai Tiantian's table. "Eat up, I don't know if it will suit your taste."
There were only two chairs in the dormitory. Bai Tiantian had to sit to eat, so Lin Xi had to stand.
Bai Tiantian didn't want to touch her roommate's things, so she simply pressed Lin Xi down onto the bed, saying, "You sit on the bed, I don't mind that you're dirty."

Bai Tiantian quickly chewed the food in her mouth, swallowed it with a thud, slammed her hand on the table and stood up, shouting at Liu Ting, "Liu Ting, I've put up with you for a long time! Just because I haven't shown my teeth doesn't mean I'm a pushover!"
Liu Ting was stunned for a moment. This was the first time she had seen Bai Tiantian lose her temper. Before, no matter what she said, Bai Tiantian would just laugh it off.

She knew exactly how many points each person scored by heart. She didn't dare to say who was in the top few, and she was afraid that the scores of those who were in the bottom few wouldn't be enough to impress Bai Tiantian, so Liu Ting compromised and chose the score of eleventh place.
"My college entrance examination score was 689, which ranked eleventh in history in Jiangbei City."
After Liu Ting finished speaking, she proudly raised her head and said, "How about that? This score is ten points higher than Bai Tiantian's."
Bai Tiantian and Lin Xi were both stunned.
Bai Tiantian was surprised that Liu Ting would say such a high score, while Lin Xi was shocked that Liu Ting was referring to her college entrance examination score and ranking.
"Are you serious?" Bai Tiantian and Lin Xi asked at the same time.
"What's there to be serious about? It's just a score." Liu Ting sneered. They were just jealous.
Bai Tiantian looked at Lin Xi, "Xi Xi, you don't believe it either, right?"
“This…” Lin Xi hesitated whether to give the girl some face, but then she thought, why should she let someone else use her grades and rankings to show off? “She just mentioned my college entrance examination scores and rankings.”
"Pfft! Hahaha!" Bai Tiantian slapped her thigh and burst out laughing. "Liu Ting, you tried to show off but failed miserably. You've gone and shown off in front of the real person! It's hilarious, hahaha!"
Liu Ting's expression changed slightly. She couldn't believe such a coincidence. "You say it's yours, so what proof do you have?"
Lin Xi had a screenshot of her score on her phone. She opened the picture and showed it to Bai Tiantian first, saying, "It has my name, ID number, and college entrance examination score on it."

"I didn't take a screenshot," Liu Ting still insisted. "Who knows if her screenshot was photoshopped? There are so many fake ones these days."

Liu Ting couldn't hold back any longer, and she turned and left the dormitory.
Before she had gone far, Bai Tiantian's loud laughter came from the dormitory again.

Lin Xi, standing to the side, couldn't laugh. She asked worriedly, "Sweetie, will she cause you trouble later?"
Bai Tiantian waved her hand, "I'm not afraid of her. What else can she do besides being exempt from military training and living in a two-person dormitory?"
"Don't worry about her," Bai Tiantian sat down next to Lin Xi and affectionately put her arm around her shoulder. "Xi Xi, your cooking is really delicious."
Lin Xi took out a tissue from her bag and wiped Bai Tiantian's oily lips. "If you like it, I'll make it for you again later."

Lin Xi smiled and said, "You fall in love with someone way too easily."
