Chapter 57 You can't sell underwear, but you can sell CEO Song's socks.

Chapter 57 You can't sell underwear, but you can sell CEO Song's socks.

Lin Xi immediately banished the thought from her mind. If she dared to sell the underwear that Song Xu had worn, Song Xu would probably strangle her!

“The underwear thing isn’t even the most perverted one,” Bai Tiantian covered her mouth and chuckled. “There are also people who want to buy semen, probably because they want to have Song Ba Zong’s child secretly and want to take over the position directly.”

Lin Xi was completely dumbfounded. Was she too ignorant or were those girls too crazy? She simply couldn't accept this information.

Bai Tiantian nudged Lin Xi with her shoulder, "Xi Xi, you live in the same house as President Song every day, so you have the best chance to make your move. Do you want to consider it?"

"No, no," Lin Xi quickly refused. "I can't get underwear or semen, and this is a matter of principle. No amount of money can make me do this kind of thing."

"Hahaha," Bai Tiantian laughed loudly, leaning on Lin Xi's shoulder and laughing so hard she could hardly breathe. "Xi Xi, you're so cute. I meant I'd let you take the top spot directly, not let you steal CEO Song's underwear and semen."

Lin Xi's face turned crimson. "Sweetie, I'm going to get angry if you keep talking nonsense."

"I'll shut up." Bai Tiantian stopped smiling and shut her mouth.

Lin Xi handed the phone back to Bai Tiantian, "Does anyone accept Song Xu's old clothes? Or any other normal items he's used?"

Bai Tiantian nodded, "Yes, you can't sell underwear, but you can sell small items like Song Ba Zong's socks and handkerchiefs."

Lin Xi's eyes lit up. She needed to sign a resale contract with Song Xu as soon as she got back today, so that she would have the right to sell Song Xu's products.

"Sweetie, you've had a long morning. Take a good rest at noon. I'll be going now," Lin Xi stood up and put away the lunchbox on the table. "I'll take the lunchbox back to wash it and bring you lunch next time."

"Oh, that's too kind of you," Bai Tiantian said, but she seemed genuinely happy.

"Alright, stop pretending with me." Lin Xi pinched Bai Tiantian's cheek.

Lin Xi rushed back to the apartment, opened the shoe cabinet, and saw that Song Xu's leather shoes were still there, so Song Xu should be at home.

She changed into slippers, went to the kitchen to wash the lunchbox, and walked to the dining table. Nothing on it had been touched; it was exactly the same as when she left. The note she had written was still there.

Lin Xi glanced in the direction of Song Xu's room. Was he still sleeping and hadn't gotten up yet?

She cleared everything off the table, putting the edible items in the refrigerator and throwing away the inedible ones.

After finishing all that, she returned to her room, leaving the door open so she would know when Song Xu went out.

Lin Xi read books, looked up information, and memorized vocabulary. Three or four hours passed just like that, until she got a little hungry and realized it was already past five o'clock.

The door opposite was still closed. Lin Xi's heart pounded. Had they slept for far too long? Wouldn't they be hungry after not eating for a day?

Lin Xi walked to Song Xu's room and tried knocking, but there was no sound from inside.

With the contract signing on her mind, and knowing it would get dark soon, Lin Xi stopped worrying and went straight in to wake Song Xu up for breakfast.

Lin Xi felt like she had fallen into an ice cave when she walked in. She shivered from the cold. The temperature was so low, it felt like only ten degrees Celsius. How afraid of heat must Song Xu be?

"President Song?" Lin Xi peeked inside and saw a bulge on the bed; sure enough, he was still asleep.

The temperature is too low, so Lin Xi turned the air conditioner to 25 degrees Celsius.

"Mr. Song, are you going to eat dinner tonight?" Lin Xi asked as she walked to the bedside. If he wasn't going to eat, she wouldn't cook; there was enough left over for him.

Song Xu didn't react at all. Lin Xi frowned, wondering if it was another trick from this morning.

Lin Xi shook Song Xu through the blanket, "President Song, wake up."

"Cold..." Song Xu curled up into a ball.

How could it not be cold at sixteen degrees? Lin Xi was helpless. She looked down at Song Xu, who had his head buried in the quilt, waiting for him to answer her question. But after a while, Song Xu still kept his eyes closed and did not speak.

"President Song." Lin Xi nudged him again.

Song Xu was pushed from her side to her flat side, revealing her flushed face.

Lin Xi then realized something was wrong. She reached out and touched Song Xu's forehead; it was burning hot. He had a fever, probably around 39 degrees Celsius.

No wonder I couldn't wake him up; I wonder how long he'd been burning up.

Lin Xi panicked; the boss couldn't be hurt.

First, she needed to take fever-reducing medicine. Lin Xi took out the first-aid kit, found the fever-reducing medicine, and then got a glass of warm water.

"Mr. Song, get up and take your medicine," Lin Xi said, holding two white pills to Song Xu's lips. "You have a fever, you need to bring it down first."

Song Xu was still half asleep when he heard the words "take medicine" and immediately turned his head away, saying, "I don't want to take medicine."

Lin Xi took a deep breath. It seemed that he had difficulty taking his medicine. She patiently continued to persuade him, "President Song, it's just two pills. You'll be fine after you take them."

Song Xu couldn't open his eyes, felt weak all over, and had difficulty speaking. He pursed his lips tightly, neither speaking nor taking his medicine.

Lin Xi put her hands on her hips. Song Xu had forced her to do this, so she had to resort to the trick she learned from her grandmother.

She then grabbed a spoon, put the pill in it, added some water to dissolve it, and prepared a spoonful of bitter medicine.

Lin Xi held a spoon in one hand and pinched Song Xu's nose with the other.

Song Xu couldn't breathe, couldn't open his eyelids, couldn't lift his hands, and opened his mouth to curse who was so bored.

As soon as he opened his mouth, Lin Xi swiftly shoved the spoon into Song Xu's mouth, and the bitter medicine was poured in.

"Cough!" Song Xu coughed twice, the spoonful of medicine going all the way down his throat. "It's so bitter!"

While he was speaking, Lin Xi fed him two more spoonfuls of sugar water, saying, "Okay, it won't be bitter anymore."

The sweet syrup masked the bitterness, and Song Xu vaguely heard Lin Xi's voice. He cursed inwardly, thinking, "It's only this stinky stone who would treat me like this; he's utterly inhuman."

Song Xu felt cold all over and was shivering. Lin Xi took out a thick quilt and put it on Song Xu, and then raised the air conditioner temperature by two degrees.

Lin Xi dared not leave and stayed by Song Xu's bedside. Half an hour later, Song Xu calmed down.

While he was sleeping, Lin Xi heated up the leftovers and ate them, and then cooked a pot of white porridge for Song Xu, since he couldn't eat much in his condition.

Once the porridge was ready, she ladled out a bowl to let it cool.

Back in Song Xu's room, Lin Xi found that Song Xu was sweating and his body temperature had dropped a lot, but his pajamas were soaked. Lin Xi felt sorry for him.

Since he was a patient, Lin Xi disregarded the proper boundaries between men and women, wiping his sweat with a dry towel while undressing Song Xu.

The buttons were all undone, but how could she take them off? Lin Xi was already panting. She leaned down and hugged Song Xu's neck, trying to pull his upper body up.

After two attempts, Song Xu remained motionless. Just as Lin Xi was about to give up, Song Xu suddenly flipped over and pinned Lin Xi underneath him.
