The consequence of not dressing Yesi all summer is that when it gets cooler, Yesi refuses to wear anything when you try to put clothes on her.
If you force her to wear it, the coconut flakes will come off on their own in the blink of an eye as Grandma Mei turns around.
The Mei family watched with a headache as Ye Si ran around in a bib. By this time, the adults were all wearing long sleeves and trousers, and the children had already put on their thermal underwear.
"This isn't a solution. If this continues, our daughter will catch a cold." Mr. Mei sat on the edge of the kang (a heated brick bed) watching his daughter rummaging through the cabinets again with concern.
The weather was getting colder and colder. Although the kang (a heated brick bed) was already lit in the house, Ye Si could still feel the chill. She felt that not having hair was really inconvenient, and she would shiver when it got cold.
"Achoo...Achoo~!" Yesi felt a little dizzy and began to consider whether she should wear a "skin" like those adult beasts.
In the afternoon, Ye Si felt as if her nose was blocked, and she felt short of breath and very uncomfortable.
"Grandma! Grandma!" Coconuts valued her life, so she decided to ask someone for help.
"What's wrong? Why does your voice sound so nasal? Do you have a cold?" Grandma Mei immediately became worried when she heard her granddaughter's voice sound off.
"Milk! Milk! Ahhhhhh..." Ye Si was already starting to feel breathless, but she didn't know how to describe her current situation.
"What's wrong with this child? Why is her face all blue?" Grandma Mei was terrified when she saw her granddaughter's blue face.
"Grandma... Grandma..." Coconut felt her vision go black and she didn't even have the strength to speak.
"What happened? Sisi, don't be afraid, Grandma will take you to the hospital!" Grandma Mei was anxious and quickly wrapped her granddaughter in a small blanket and ran outside.
Grandma Wang heard the noise and quickly came out to check.
"Girl, what's wrong? What happened to Sisi?" Grandma Wang saw Grandma Mei running out with coconut flakes and quickly asked what was going on.
"I don't know! Her face is turning blue, and she looks like she can't breathe! I'm thinking of taking her to the hospital." Grandma Mei was so anxious she was almost crying.
"What happened? What's stuck in your throat?" Grandma Wang was also alarmed when she saw that Ye Si's face inside the blanket had turned blue.
"No, she just finished eating. Sisi is very well-behaved and never puts things in her mouth."
Grandma Mei denied it.
"Let Aiguo ride his bike to take you to the hospital. Aiguo, come out quickly! Sisi is in trouble! You need to take them to the hospital!" Grandma Wang hurriedly called to her son, Wang Aiguo.
"What happened?" Knowing that Grandma Wang had a good relationship with the Mei family next door, Wang's father quickly put on his clothes and ran out when he heard that something had happened.
Wang Gousheng didn't want to meddle in other people's business, but Grandma Wang doted on the Mei family's little girl, and if something happened to that little girl, the Wang family would probably be affected as well.
Wang Gousheng didn't want to enjoy a peaceful retirement, because a little girl had ruined his mood.
Everyone was in such a hurry that no one noticed Wang Gousheng coming out as well.
Wang Gousheng reached his hand into Ye Si's small blanket, grabbed her ankle, and used the little internal energy he had cultivated over the past few days to guide it along Ye Si's meridians to her heart.
Wang Gousheng planned to protect Mei's daughter's heart meridian so that her life would not be in danger on the way to the hospital.
The coconut, which was about to stop breathing, was outside, and when the wind blew on its little face, snot started running down its nose.
"Slurp... slurp..." Coconut felt much easier to breathe, her chest felt warm, she could catch her breath, and her dizziness was gone.
"Grandma!" Coconut turned to look at Grandma Mei, somewhat confused as to where they were going.
"Sisi, you're awake! How are you? Tell Grandma quickly." When Grandma Mei saw that her granddaughter was awake, her expression returned to normal, and she immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"Ahhh...slurp...ah!" Coconut didn't know how to describe it, she just kept pointing to her nose.
"What's wrong with your nose? Is it blocked?" Grandma Mei couldn't understand her granddaughter's alien language.
"Does she have a cold?" Wang Gousheng thought of his own cold a while ago, when he always had a runny nose and felt filthy!
"A cold? Yes, I heard her sneeze several times at noon. I tried to put her clothes on, but she wouldn't let me." Grandma Mei nodded repeatedly, convinced that her granddaughter must have caught a cold.
"When I had a cold, my nose was stuffy and I had trouble breathing." Wang Gousheng's face darkened as he recalled his experience a few days ago.
Wang Gousheng: I really should work harder on my internal energy cultivation; I caught a cold just from being exposed to the cold.
"Could it be that his nose is stuffy and he can't breathe?" Grandma Wang asked hesitantly.
"That can't be right. If your nose is blocked, you can still breathe through your mouth, right?" Grandma Mei thought this guess was outrageous. Who doesn't know that if your nose is blocked, you can still breathe through your mouth?
“Aunt Mei, adults know how to use their mouths, but children may not,” Wang’s father couldn’t help but interject.
"Yeah, how come I didn't think of that? That's right."
Grandma Mei nodded, agreeing with what Wang's father said.
"Should we still go to the hospital?" Grandma Wang saw that Ye Si's face was no longer pale and had regained its color, so she decided to ask Grandma Mei whether they should still go to the hospital.
"We'll have to trouble Xiao Wang to take us there; I won't feel at ease if we don't go."
"Alright then, don't worry about the trouble, let's go now!"
Grandma Wang waved her hand, thinking it was just taking the Mei family girl to the hospital, what trouble was there?
"Yes, Aunt Mei, it's no trouble at all. It's normal for neighbors to help each other! I'm often not home, and I'm very grateful to you for taking care of my mother."
"Then I won't stand on ceremony with you. I was in a hurry to leave, so I'll go back first to help Sisi put on her clothes. You should also go and put on a warm coat; it's windy today, so don't catch a cold."
