Heinrich thought he was coming to get married, not to serve as a dog, an accountant, a maid, a bodyguard, a toy, or a horse for a woman.

He was originally the heir to a noble title from a new wealthy German family, but on his way to Venice to pick up his bride, he was robbed, reduced to a slave, and bought home as a pet by a young widow.

"From today on, I am your master," she declared.

Heinrich knelt on the ground and looked up, only to discover that the woman who bought him was his fiancée.

She was far from the gentle and virtuous young lady of reputation. Instead, she was a perverted, wicked woman who had schemed to murder her fiancé simply to avoid marriage, and an evil banker known by the name of the fallen witch, "Lilith."

To survive, Heinrich had to act the part of a loyal dog to please his mistress, stand up for her in moments of danger, and endure whips and torture when she was angry. Being a dog wasn't enough; he had to be an ox and horse too: he had to handle mergers, reorganizations, and currency exchanges. He had to set fires in warehouses and steal documents. He paved her way with his own blood and tears, helping her step by step become the financial queen of the Adriatic Sea.

He endured humiliation and bore a heavy burden, secretly cultivating his own strength to reclaim everything that belonged to him... Yet, just as he was about to achieve his wish, he realized he had accidentally become addicted to being this woman's dog.
