“Of course not,” the principal looked at Xie Zhuo, then at her, his expression also unpleasant. “I called you here to ask about the situation.”
“Alright,” Xu Yan looked at him, her voice neither humble nor arrogant, “My answer is that the letter of complaint was entirely fabricated based on subjective conjecture.”
The principal frowned.
"Spreading rumors? You dare say you didn't eat Guo Jiazhi's steamed buns?" Before the principal could speak again, a person standing at the door suddenly interrupted.
Xu Yan turned to look at him, "Who are you?"
"You don't need to know who I am, you just need to answer the questions."
The man raised his head, looking arrogant, but his eyes gleamed with a sharp light. "And what's more, you're holding hands with a man right now. Are you always this shameless and indecent?"
Xie Zhuo's face turned even colder at those words. He didn't care whether Xu Yan was still holding his arm or not, and instinctively walked towards Nie Jianguo.

The principal's office immediately descended into chaos.
A group of people pulled Xie Zhuo away.
Nie Jianguo was beaten by the students, and his temper flared up instantly. When he saw Xie Zhu being stopped, he raised his foot to kick Xie Zhu in the stomach.
No sooner had she lifted her foot than Xu Yan grabbed a stool from the side and slammed it down on her calf.
"Aww—"
Nie Jianguo's voice almost blew the roof off the principal's office.
The others were also surprised that Xu Yan would make a move. They were stunned for a few seconds before rushing over to check Nie Jianguo's leg.
