Suddenly, Crawford frowned slightly, then looked carefully at a certain spot. Before Pierce could react, Crawford suddenly got up and pulled open the blinds.
A moment later, as if confirming something, Crawford suddenly said to the Winter Soldier behind him, "Winter Soldier, three of you immediately escort us out of here, and the other two go and destroy the camera and catch the person who took the photos."
Seeing Crawford's intense reaction, Pierce immediately put down his cup, followed Crawford's gaze, and walked towards the Winter Soldier's back.
"We are ready to obey!" Upon hearing the command, the five Winter Soldier raised their heads sharply, and three of them quickly stood in front of Crawford and Pierce, ready for battle.
The other two smashed the glass window and headed towards where Peter was.
Pierce hid behind the Winter Soldier and tilted his head slightly to look out the window. Soon, Pierce also noticed something was wrong.
Outside, there was a camera hanging there.
Subconsciously, Pierce looked at Renata through the glass window. Logically, only someone with the authority in this house would be able to place the camera there quietly.
But Pierce quickly refuted his own opinion—outside the glass window, Renata was looking up at the camera with a look of astonishment on her face.
“This isn’t fun.” Peter heard the commotion in the conference room and immediately realized he’d been exposed. But he remained calm, simply pulling back the spiderweb to retrieve the camera. He even had a composed smile on his face.
"Smack!"
Peter closed the camera, then raised his wrist and shot a spider silk at the camera, sticking it to the wall.
Seeing the two Winter Soldier approaching, Peter leaped and landed steadily on the wall, standing in the corridor.
Spider-Man?
Pierce and Crawford stopped simultaneously, exchanged a glance, and both saw the confusion in each other's eyes—why was Spider-Man in their conference room, secretly filming their conversation? And why was Spider-Man's suit black?
Thinking of this, Pierce narrowed his eyes slightly—the Hydra agents patrolling outside hadn't even noticed Spider-Man's arrival; what a bunch of useless idiots!
“No need to leave. Once Number Four and Number Five catch Spider-Man, you go and interrogate him about why he came to my villa.” Pierce looked coldly at Peter and said to Crawford beside him.
He had already read Spider-Man's information. Perhaps he could gain the upper hand against one Winter Soldier, but if two Winter Soldiers attacked together, Spider-Man would definitely be no match.
Peter watched the two Winter Soldier figures getting closer and closer, and observed them carefully: the black man walking slightly ahead was wearing a vest and his arms were thicker than his legs; the other white man was slightly taller and was just as strong as the black man next to him, and even more imposing.
Faced with such a formidable opponent, Peter was not nervous at all; instead, a smile appeared on his lips: This seems to make it even more challenging.
"Smack!"
The Black man walked up to Peter and swung his fist heavily, creating a gust of wind with the speed of the punch. The white man beside him also rushed over and slammed his fist down on Peter.
The two men attacked Peter simultaneously from the left and right.
Peter looked at their fists and felt a surge of urge to meet them head-on. And the next moment, Peter actually did just that.
Peter stretched out his hands to meet their fists.
"Has this Spider-Man gone mad?"
Crawford sneered—he had never seen anyone so stupid as to dare to take the punches of two Winter Soldiers at the same time. Those who dared to do that back in the Winter Soldier selection camp were all dead now.
Pierce didn't reply, but a cold smile crept onto his lips.
But the next moment, Crawford froze on the spot. In the distance, Spider-Man's hands, after meeting the fists of the two Winter Soldier's, remained firmly suspended, not being knocked back an inch!
"Are you stupid? Am I the one saying this?" Peter raised his head slightly to look at Crawford, raised an eyebrow, and spoke with a tone that seemed to be both provocative and inexplicably cold.
The ceiling lights illuminated the corridor brightly, except for Spider-Man, whose light was mostly blocked by the ornamental trees planted along the corridor. As a result, Spider-Man, dressed in his black suit, seemed to have vanished into the darkness, giving Crawford a chilling feeling.
Then, to Crawford's horrified gaze, Peter exerted a slight force and easily pressed the arms of the two Winter Soldier back down.
"How is this possible?" Crawford's eyes widened, his face filled with disbelief.
Although Crawford couldn't see Spider-Man's expression through the black Spider-Man suit, he could deduce from Peter's current performance that Spider-Man still had plenty of energy left.
This is a combined attack from two powerful Winter Warriors!
Peter's actions then confirmed to Crawford once again that Peter truly had spare capacity.
"Ha!"
"Ha!"
The two Winter Soldier warriors strained simultaneously, the veins on their arms bulging, trying to pull their fists out of Peter's hands, while involuntarily letting out a roar of all their might.
"It seems the so-called Winter Soldier is nothing special after all." Peter smirked, glanced at Crawford and Pierce in the distance, then squeezed their fists tightly and swung them forcefully.
The next moment, the two Winter Soldier were thrown off their feet and crashed into the top of the corridor wall, one on the left and one on the right.
