"I understand!" Peter exclaimed excitedly, his mind racing. "Your strength hasn't increased much, but you've gained an ability I don't have—magic?"
Gel swallowed the words he was about to say and simply nodded.
"God! That's so cool!" Peter thought about how things flew up automatically when Gel waved his hand, and suddenly his own increased strength didn't seem so appealing anymore. "Why do I only get stronger? This isn't as cool as magic!"
Only getting stronger? Gle clearly remembered that Spider-Man had many derivative abilities, including spider-sense, wall climbing, and the most classic spider web, etc. It seems that Peter was too excited this morning and hadn't had time to explore them yet.
Looking at the time, it was still early before school, so Geer suggested, "How about we go somewhere to fight and test our abilities?"
Peter thought for a moment, then gave Gel a mysterious smile: "I know an abandoned factory, come with me!"
Following Peter through streets and alleys, they walked for quite a while, even crossing a barren stretch of land, until they finally arrived at an abandoned factory. Along the way, Ger carefully observed the surroundings. There were no obstructions or other factories nearby, and no surveillance cameras inside. Even if he used his abilities, he wouldn't worry about being discovered.
"How did you find this abandoned factory?" Ger looked up, then at the spacious area, and asked Peter.
Peter raised an eyebrow, looking visibly smug: "You know I like skateboarding, but I also don't like joining in the fun. One day, when I was looking for a place to practice, I came across this abandoned factory."
Gel smiled, not calling out Peter's statement about "not liking to join in the fun," but continued to look around the abandoned factory: the abandoned factory was very large, about five meters high and several hundred meters long, filled with all kinds of debris, but also had small paths cleared out, obviously cleared by Peter when he practiced skateboarding.
"How do we fight?" Peter was already eager to try.
Gel stopped, waved his hand at Peter, and a large number of wooden planks on the ground whistled through the air and hurtled towards Peter: "Of course you can hit me however you want."
"Snap! Snap!"
Peter kept punching, breaking through all the wooden planks that were being thrown at him, then broke out of the encirclement and charged towards Ger: "They actually launched a sneak attack!"
“The enemy won’t give you time to prepare.” Ger smiled, seeing that Peter hadn’t been wounded at all despite so many attacks. While controlling the metal shards to smash at Peter, he asked, “How are you feeling now with the real-time battle situation being shared?”
Peter punched the metal sheet, and with several loud "clangs," he realized, "I didn't feel like I used much force to smash the wooden board and metal sheet apart, and I didn't hurt my hand."
With that, Peter sped up, leaping into the air and using both hands and feet to quickly kick and smash away all the flying metal pieces, then ran quickly toward Ger.
With a wave of his hand, Ger sent a dilapidated machine, over two meters tall, hurtling towards Peter with a whooshing sound: "Watch out now!"
"God! Ger, is this murder?" Peter's hair stood on end as he watched the enormous machine fly towards him. He leaped onto it, but before he could say anything, another large machine came hurtling towards him. He immediately delivered a flying kick, sending the machine flying. Feeling the force he had used, Peter's eyes lit up. "I don't feel any strain yet! But Ger, your magic seems rather weak."
"Really?" As Peter slowly approached on the machine, Gel stopped operating it, stood still, and looked at Peter with a smile.
Ten meters, nine meters, eight meters...
Peter drew closer to Ger, his expression growing increasingly smug: "Ger, are you about to give up? Don't worry, I won't beat you until you're begging for your mother."
Ger simply smiled, then swung his hands down sharply, his body seemingly defying gravity as he hurtled toward the roof. As he approached the roof, he came to a steady stop and sat on the iron frame hanging from it.
Peter stared in disbelief as this scene, which he had only ever dreamed of, unfolded before his eyes: "God! This is so cool!"
Gel waved to him: "You can come up too, try your own method."
Peter thought about the spider web on his wrist that he had seen that morning, and suddenly it dawned on him. He held his wrist up, aimed at the ceiling, and with a "whoosh," a piece of spider silk flew off his wrist.
Although he didn't succeed the first time, Peter knew the idea was feasible, so he experimented again and again. Finally, on the fifth attempt, the tip of the spider silk stuck to the roof beam, while the other end remained on his wrist. Peter pulled hard, and his body nimbly rushed towards the roof. But instead of sitting on the roof beam, Peter shot out spider silk again and again, practicing in the abandoned factory.
"continue!"
Peter shot a spider silk towards Gel, intending to use it to swing to Gel's side and attack. But Gel simply waved his hand, and the silk fell into thin air, not sticking to the wall next to Gel.
Peter was unwilling to give up and kept shooting out spider silk in an attempt to stabilize his body, but all of it was intercepted by Gel and missed its target.
Peter gently bent down and landed on the ground, shouting defiantly at Ger: "Again!"
