Chapter 10: How did Gui Si live broadcast in the dormitory?

Chapter 10: How did Gui Si live broadcast in the dormitory?

When the three of them walked downstairs, Fang Xinai was still secretly happy.

She turned around and asked Chang Xile with a smile: "You and I haven't seen each other for several days. If there are any changes, they will be more obvious. Do you think I've lost weight?"

Chang Xile studied her carefully for a moment and nodded. Fang Xinai was tall and underweight, and this thinness was even more noticeable, with even the skeleton of her chest vaguely visible.

"You've been eating and drinking a lot lately, but you've still lost weight. This is not a good sign." Ren Qing silently poured cold water on him. Generally, this kind of situation that goes against common sense may be a problem with a certain function of the body.

Fang Xinai was unhappy and turned around and said, "Isn't it good not to gain weight? This is what many people dream of. Stop cursing me."

"Overeating is bad for your stomach. A healthy diet is very important!" Chang Xile saw that the situation was not good, so he stroked Fang Xinai's hair to smooth her hair, while Ren Qing remained silent.

On the way back to the dormitory after running, Chang Xile kept paying attention to whether there were any kittens on the roadside.

However, it seems that people can never find what they want to find. Chang Xile stared for a long time but did not see a single cat hair.

"What are you looking for?" Fang Xinai asked. She seemed a little anxious after running and was in a hurry to get back to the dormitory. "Go back quickly, I'm a little hungry!"

"I'm looking for cats." Chang Xile looked away. "Is it my illusion? It seems that there are fewer cats in school."

"It's not an illusion." Ren Qing walked to the entrance of an alley where stray cats usually gathered, but she didn't see any cats there. She frowned and said affirmatively, "The number of cats has simply decreased in the past half month."

"Hey, speaking of the cat senior we met last time, no one has posted it on the campus wall for a long time. I saw someone asking where it went a few days ago." Fang Xinai frowned and patiently told Chang Xile.

It was already dark on the way back to the dorm, but the streets were bustling with people. Fang Xinai, clutching her stomach, hurried along, walking ahead of the other two. Then, suddenly, she slowed her pace and turned back to make a "hush" gesture to them.

Chang Xile and Ren Qing looked at each other, and then walked over quietly in cooperation. When they looked up, they saw a little black cat squatting behind the tree.

"Xi Le." Fang Xinai whispered to Chang Xi Le, "What did you want to do with the kitten? Take it home to raise it?"

"No, I just want to look for it." Chang Xile stared at the little black cat for a long time, but heard nothing. After a while, she suddenly realized: I can understand cats talking, but if it doesn't meow, I can't hear anything!

Fang Xinai slowly squatted down, trying to lower the cat's alertness. She stretched out her hand in a welcoming gesture and imitated the cat's meow.

The black cat looked very alert. It hunched its body and purred threateningly, as if it was about to pounce. However, Fang Xinai didn't notice anything was wrong and happily said to Chang Xile and the others, "It responded to me!"

Even though Ren Qing was unfamiliar with cats, she felt something was amiss. She stepped forward to warn Fang Xinai, "A cat that arches its body might be trying to attack you. Don't get too close."

Chang Xile reacted faster. She took a few steps forward and pulled Fang Xinai back. At that moment, the black cat cried out and pounced on her, almost scratching Fang Xinai's face.

The black cat disappeared into the bushes after landing. Fang Xinai patted his chest with lingering fear and said depressedly, "Am I really that unpopular with cats? I used to be so popular with cats when I was in the cat cafe."

Hearing her say this, Chang Xile suddenly realized: That's right! Why would she go through so much trouble to look for cats all over the world? Wouldn't it be better to just go to a cat cafe and take a look?

However, Chang Xile soon became serious again, because she also understood the meaning of the black cat's meowing just now.

Chang Xile understood what the black cat said again, but the content of the words made her feel that she was hallucinating.

She turned her head with difficulty and stared at Fang Xinai's shoulder.

Just now, the cat arched its back and said ferociously: If that dark shadow behind you comes one step closer, I will scratch you to death!

But there was no one behind Fang Xinai, let alone any dark shadow.

"What are you looking at?" Fang Xinai noticed Chang Xile's gaze and looked back, but she wasn't looking at anything. She frowned and said angrily, "Okay, Xile, I'll accompany you to the cat cafe to pet cats next time. Come back to the dormitory quickly, I'm starving!"

Chang Xile wanted to say something, but even she herself found what had just happened unbelievable. What was the point in telling Fang Xinai? So she sighed again and thought: I should go to the hospital again tomorrow and make an appointment with the psychiatric department.

With this interruption, without Chang Xile to mediate, Fang Xinai and Ren Qing were quarreling again, and the few of them returned to the dormitory in silence. Unexpectedly, it was very lively inside.

Yang Guisi was clearly alone in the dormitory, yet the sounds of multiple people talking could be heard. Chang Xile opened the door and saw Yang Guisi, the upper half of her face covered by a black mask, speaking into her computer. Her face was reflected on the screen, while lines of text floated in the lower left corner, creating a lively atmosphere. Occasionally, fireworks or trains would pop up on the screen.

It seems to be the type of live broadcast that you would see on Tik Tok.

There was a girl's face in the lower right corner of the computer screen. She had delicate makeup on and looked very excited to be connected to her favorite streamer. "Ghost Si, my name is Rongrong, and I've been following you for a long time! Lately, I've been hearing a woman crying in the house next door, but the landlord says no one lives there. Do you think it could be a ghost?"

As he was speaking, a faint sobbing sound came from the girl on the other side of the wall.

"Why is she livestreaming in the dorm..." Fang Xinai muttered unhappily, returning to her seat to unpack her snacks. However, strangely enough, once she got back to the dorm, she didn't feel hungry anymore.

Chang Xile and Ren Qing just stood there motionless because they didn't want to be in the camera.

Yang Guisi turned around and glanced at Chang Xile and the others, then said to the camera, "My roommate is back, let's make a quick decision. I'm following you, please send me your address in a private message."

"Ah... do you still need to send the address?" Rongrong was stunned and didn't want to send the private information so casually.

"Don't you trust me?" Yang Guisi curled his lips and said indifferently, "Or if you dare to knock on the door next door and let me see, that's fine too."

Rongrong was still hesitating, but Yang Guisi didn't have so much patience: "Okay, if you don't want to, that's fine. Let's end our call here for now."

"Wait a minute!" Rongrong hurriedly stopped him, "Gui Si, I've been following you for a long time, I believe in you."

After a while, Yang Guisi's phone vibrated. She glanced at the message that popped up on the screen, took out something that looked like a Bagua plate, closed her eyes, and muttered something.

After about two or three minutes, Yang Guisi opened his eyes and said firmly, "Call the police."
