Chapter 39 Wang Fang suffers miscarriage, two broken shoes in one family

Wang Fang was completely stunned with fear. Wang Hong stepped forward, shoved the man, and shouted angrily, "What are you doing? What are you trying to do? You pervert, if you don't leave, I'll call for help!"

The man, unfazed, took two more steps forward, pretending to accidentally flick his cigarette ash onto Wang Fang's blanket, and shouted, "Oops! I dropped some ash! What happened? Hurry, let me see, don't burn yourself..."

"Get out! Get out of here!"

"Ah! Don't come any closer!"

The man yanked the blanket off, shouting, "Ouch! Look, this female hooligan's legs are so white! But..." He gagged, made a vomiting sound, covered his nose, and yelled, "It stinks! Did you stuff rotten fish down there?!" He took several steps back, saying, "We'd better stay away from this female hooligan, everyone get away!" Then he ran off. The others realized they'd gone too far and scattered.

All Wang Fang could do at this moment was scream. Wang Hong's cries for help were drowned out by the man's voice. After the man left, Wang Hong quickly covered her with the blanket, found a strip of cloth and tied several corners to the bed legs, and comforted her sister, "Sister, don't be afraid, we'll go home when we're better." But both of them knew that they could not go home. Wang Fang might be taken away tomorrow. After all, she had done something immoral and there was no way she could escape.

Neither of the sisters slept soundly that night. Qi Zhifang also tidied herself up neatly and put on light makeup. Since she didn't have lipstick, she slightly dampened a piece of red paper with water and then pressed it to her lips.

After packing everything up, she took a deep breath, her expression one of unwavering resolve, and went to Li Maocai's house.

Just then, Li Maocai's son, Li Hongqi, went to his sister's house, leaving him alone. When he opened the door and saw Qi Zhifang, he frowned and tried to close the door, but Qi Zhifang forced her way in.

Li Maocai whispered, "What are you doing? Get out of here!"

Qi Zhifang, exuding charm, said in a voice as clear as water, "I need to talk to you. Let's go inside!"

Li Maocai glanced at Qi Zhifang with disdain and said, "Then don't come into my house either. What would it look like if someone saw you? And you're going to the same old place, with the same key."

Qi Zhifang pointed her index finger at Li Maocai's lower abdomen and said softly, "I'll wait for you!" Then she turned and left. Li Maocai cursed inwardly, "Slut, what a damn vixen!"

I went back, took a pill, and waited for more than an hour before riding my bicycle over there.

As soon as he entered the room, he felt that it was warm. Qi Zhifang was wearing a floral vest and sitting on the edge of the kang (a heated brick bed). Her nipples were faintly visible, and her fair thighs hung down under her boxer shorts. She looked at Li Maocai with great charm. Li Maocai snorted coldly, "What are you up to? Let me make this clear first, I can't interfere with your affair with that Xiao guy."

Qi Zhifang gave a seductive smile and said, "If I serve you well today, you'll help me get my daughter out!" Li Maocai was taken aback and asked, "What happened to your daughter?"

Qi Zhifang bit her lip, fighting back tears, and said, "She went back to the city a few days ago, but she miscarried. She's in the hospital having surgery now. I beg you to help me get her out and save my child. I'll do anything!"

Li Maocai chuckled contemptuously. "Is this 'having affairs' a family tradition? Your daughter isn't even married yet, is she? And she's already so eager for men?"

Qi Zhifang's expression changed. Thinking of what Wang Fang was going to face, she still got off the ground, unbuckled Li Maocai's belt, and pulled on the elastic band of his boxer shorts, saying, "Just tell me if you'll help me or not. If you help me, I'll let you do whatever you want with me today. If you don't help me, I'll get dressed and leave right now!"

Li Maocai chuckled and said, "You said it yourself!"

With a scream, "Ah!"

"Keep your voice down, do you want to attract everyone's attention?"

Qi Zhifang didn't know how much time had passed or how many times it had happened; she had become numb from the pain. After Li Maocai let out a comfortable cry, it was finally over. The two of them got dressed, asked about the hospital, and then Li Maocai left.

Sure enough, no one interrogated Wang Fang the next day. Qi Zhifang wrapped herself up tightly and went to borrow a stroller to pick up Wang Fang from the hospital.

Qi's mother bought a pound of eggs and cooked a pot of brown sugar millet porridge. She waited for Wang Fang to come back and brought her a big bowl with two peeled eggs in it.

Once inside, the room was already warm. Wang Fang lay down and drank a bowl of hot water. Qi's mother, with a cold face, was about to leave with the bowl when Wang Fang cried, "I'm sorry, Grandma, I..."

Qi's mother looked at her and said, "You've let down your mother, your father, your brother, and your sister. Is that what you've done to me? You've ruined yourself. You've made yourself look like a human being. The police will be coming for you in a few days. You...you're shameless!"

He left after saying that, and Wang Fang burst into tears, covered herself with the blanket, and went to sleep.

When Qi's mother returned to the room, she saw that Qi Zhifang was still completely covered up inside. When she saw Qi's mother come in, she lowered her head and turned her body away. Qi's mother sneered, "This place is so small, where can you hide?"

Qi Zhifang lowered her head and remained silent. Qi's mother closed her eyes and said, "You didn't come back all night. Wang Fang is still alright. Fangzi, I'm old, but I'm not senile. I know what you've done! But you're really not treating yourself like a human being."

Qi Zhifang whispered, "Mom, I know how sad it is. I can't let Fangfang go through this. Our family can't take any more gossip."

Qi's mother looked at her with a bitter smile and said, "If only you had known this would happen!"

Qi Zhifang didn't go out for dinner. When Xiao Cui saw that there was still brown sugar, egg and millet porridge left, he couldn't help but sneer. He peeled the remaining two eggs, added a spoonful of brown sugar, filled a large tea mug, took two cornbreads and pickled vegetable shreds, and went back to his room.

After leisurely finishing their meal, when they came out to wash the dishes, Qi's mother came out and looked at Xiao Cui with a gloomy face, suppressing her anger and saying, "Xiao Cui, did you see the egg and millet porridge I kept warm in the pot?"

Xiao Cui nodded and said, "Yes, I saw it, I've finished eating."
