Snape looked at the book, and he was indeed very interested. "So, what? Are you going to show it off like a golden snitch, or do you treat it like one of those mentally handicapped people with Potions books, flipping through a few pages and using it as a cauldron pad?"
Sirius' mouth twitched. "Brain defective," a euphemism for mentally retarded.
"James said that if you stay away from Lily you can get access to the book," Sirius said, holding up the book.
"Go away." Snape sneered before returning to his book. "I can't believe you can say such things. Can you really not afford intelligence enhancement drugs?"
Regulus looked at Sirius and laughed, "Senior's book on the Deathly Hallows is also in the Black family's study. I'll find it and show it to you."
Snape nodded slightly, but he didn't say anything. In fact, he had read most of the Black family's books, including those given to him by Regulus and Riddle.
When he took the book from Riddle and saw the Black family crest scribbled by Sirius on it, he was surprised and thought Riddle didn't want to pretend anymore.
He didn't think that Riddle hadn't noticed the graffiti. Riddle would personally look through almost every book that was handed to him, and would only give it to him if he saw any value in it. He would never give him useless books.
Finally, looking at Snape's puzzled eyes, Riddle explained that their family had some in-laws with the Black family, so they borrowed a copy from the Black family's study.
In fact, Riddle wanted to reveal his identity little by little, but when he saw Snape's eyes, he changed his mind and decided to wait a little longer until he washed away his previous paranoia and stains.
Finally, the book fell into Snape's hands. Sirius threw it to him before getting off the car. Sirius imitated Snape's sarcastic tone and said, "I'll lend it to you for a week. I wonder if this gentleman with a healthy brain can finish reading it."
Snape then used magic to copy a copy and threw the original to Sirius: "That's what you would do if your brain wasn't damaged."
Sirius: ...
Lily was much happier in the new semester because Voldemort had shown some friendliness towards the Muggle world, which made her less nervous.
To be honest, she had always been afraid that in such a harsh environment of Slytherin and Gryffindor, her friendship with Snape would come to an end, and she was also afraid that the war would break out before she graduated.
But the environment is much better now, and Voldemort seems to have given up his previous slogan. If a war breaks out now, it will be a war between Voldemort's reformers and the conservatives of the Ministry of Magic.
To be honest, she kind of wanted to support Voldemort. The newly opened department store she and Snape went to during the holidays was so beautiful. The combination of magic and technology brought Lily a different feeling.
That is a magical world with more vitality. In comparison, the previous magical world is a bit dull.
Of course, she would never support Voldemort until he completely gave up his persecution of the Muggle world. Her previous support was just a joke.
School started smoothly for Snape, but Riddle was very bored until he heard a familiar knock on the window. He opened the window and saw a snowy owl holding a letter.
He opened the letter, and instantly a bunch of black lilies exploded from it and fell into his arms.
Finally, a white ribbon fell on the black lily, with the words "My back-to-school bouquet, for you" written on it.
He recognized the ribbon that had originally been tied around Snape's neck and was now speaking to Riddle in Snape's voice.
