Chapter 67 The Decision to Abandon

In the bedroom, Wu Yulin sat blankly as if she had lost her soul. Bai Hao walked to the window and pulled back the curtains. The warm sunlight shone into the room, and the computer screen on the desk was lit up, showing a half-finished drawing.

Bai Hao: "So you're giving up already?"

Upon hearing this, Wu Yulin slowly raised her head, looking at Bai Hao with confusion: "What did you say?"

Bai Hao said calmly, "The literal meaning."

Wu Yulin looked bewildered, but Bai Hao smiled mischievously. "You have to pay for what you took, right?"

Qin Nan was still considering what to say when the sound of a cup breaking and Wu Yulin's angry roar came from the bedroom. Bai Hao, picking his ear, strolled out and closed the door behind him.

He Yan frowned and looked at Bai Hao: [What's going on?]

Bai Hao shrugged: [What do you think?]

He Yan was still worried, so he got up and went into the bedroom.

He Yan stopped in his tracks, unsure how to respond to Wu Yulin.

Wu Yulin screamed, her voice growing softer, until she was sobbing uncontrollably.

He Yan closed the door, walked to Wu Yulin, and, ignoring his struggles, picked him up and placed him on the bed. Wu Yulin was already sobbing and panting. He Yan turned to a new page in his notebook and wrote a line: What do you want me to do? Stay with you forever?

Wu Yulin's eyes were blurred with tears. After finally wiping them dry, she was stunned when she saw the contents. Then she hugged herself with a bitter smile.

Who am I? What gives me the right to demand that He Yan stay? Liking him is my own business, so why should he reciprocate?
