Chapter 66 Aisha's Painting

Of course, the main problem is that the quality of the new generation has always been low, and if the World Tree is not found to extend their life soon, this clan will soon be ruined.

Honestly, the flower fairy's temperament is not at all like that of a fairy.

I strolled back to the library, which stood in the center of the jade-white woods. The sunset glow rose from the horizon, draping the thin clouds in a golden-red veil. The horizon below was a deep, almost purple-blue, indicating that night was approaching.

The one-click, foolproof day-night cycle, though somewhat crudely made, still looks pretty good overall. Furthermore, the land before me hasn't yet seen much addition, which allows the low-lying grass to sway with a dark golden hue on its western side in the twilight, giving me the illusion that I'm walking through a golden kingdom.

Should we add something else? We have woods and fields of flowers, but there's still such a large empty area. Although the distant boundary is surrounded by water, the deeper parts seem to plunge into an abyss of darkness...

How about we create some wonders?

Replicating the pyramids from historical records and the floating Yong'an Island wouldn't be difficult. Stonehenge, which is only of aesthetic value, would also look good. Or, one could try introducing boiling fire elements, find an open space, create a mountain pass, and build a sightseeing trail that allows for close-up viewing of the lava landscape. Or, one could simply dig vertically down to create a skylight, which, after being filled with water, would transform into a glowing underwater house in the Earth's core...

I wonder where the eldest of the three sisters is and what she's doing...

Just as I was pondering this, I heard a loud explosion in the distance, followed by a slightly familiar, delicate cursing voice. It seemed that the boss's experimental base had exploded again, and she was now staring blankly at the wreckage.

I'm used to it.

Although it's unclear what the other party intends to build on the land, judging from the experimental base with its maxed-out super-hardened defense coefficient, it seems quite reliable.

The experimenters seem a bit unreliable.

In just the last few days, there have been five bombings in three days, and it's even trending towards three bombings a day. Fortunately, although the noise is loud, the impact is still confined to the base and hasn't spread outwards. I just hope she doesn't blow up my little garden completely with a huge bomb.

At least eliminate the black hole generator and thermal ray gun options from my list!

With my mind wandering, I pushed open the library door, intending to slip back to my room to continue playing. But when I looked up, I saw Miss [Aisha] talking to a scruffy rabbit standing on the table with a worried expression. They both turned to look at me when they heard the door open.

"You're back?"

"Welcome back, Master."

Aisha's eyes lit up with surprise, and she stepped forward together with the rascal rabbit who had bowed respectfully.

Of course, the fastest to arrive was the cat, who leaped down from Aisha's arms. The little guy tugged at my trouser leg, trying to climb up, eventually making his way up my back to my shoulder before finding a comfortable spot to lie down and nuzzle my cheek affectionately.

The painter, looking weary, breathed a sigh of relief upon seeing that I didn't seem angry. He then thanked me first: "Thank you for bringing me the brushes and paints. With their help, I can finally resume my long-awaited painting."

That's alright, it was something I already promised. Even though the paint wasn't cheap, there was no need to be stingy with a few silver coins.

It's a real shame that some of the best-performing restaurants were affected and had to close down, which is truly regrettable.

"No, how should I put it... At first, I only hoped that you could bring me back an ordinary paintbrush, but I didn't expect that you would not only give me a brand new paintbrush made from the tender branches of the World Tree, but also bring me back so many paints... I am not worthy of so much from you, after all, I am just a small painter... I really don't know how to express my gratitude."

She looked conflicted, her face shifting between regret and joy across her haggard expression, before turning into a slight hesitation, as if she were considering whether she should accept this rather precious gift.

Should I tell her that the paintbrush, which she considered priceless, was actually just a small fraction of the many rewards he promised her after saving Anran?

However, before I could even begin to explain, I was interrupted again.

Alice suddenly interrupted, listlessly stroking the downy hairs on her ear while glancing sideways at [Aisha]: "Aren't you worried? Why don't you just tell the person involved? It's really not right to keep worrying about it all by yourself."

As it spoke, it quickly hopped over a few steps, grabbed my trouser leg, and looked up at me, its ruby-like eyes seeming to flash with innocent light: "Hey~ Master, Miss [Aisha] has something she wants to ask you. She wants to know if you remember those paintings you saw in her dream."

Does the painting in Aisha's dream refer to the last few paintings she saw in the [gallery]?

"A black cat, a crow... what else?"

Releasing her right hand from her tightly gripped clothes, [Aisha] lowered her head: "It's a sunflower and a portrait of my predecessor when she was young."

"Those were all drawn when the predecessor had just learned to draw. They weren't very good, but because it was the first time he could draw so well, he kept them as a memento."

“Yes, I remember.” I nodded, recalling what I had seen in the illusion.

"Then, you should also know that, due to the special talent in this bloodline of my predecessor, coupled with the paintbrush that I possessed, the things in my paintings have the potential to come to life, right?"

I pondered for a moment, then nodded again: "What happened?"
