Originally, the early part of Shen Ruchu’s statement was quite irritating. Who would have thought that the second half could be more frustrating? Throughout the conversation, she seemed confident that this man would regret his decision and come back to work at Southwest Entertainment in a few days.
After all, Southwest Entertainment offers higher salaries than other companies.
What she didn’t understand was...
That the salary she was proud of was just a bit higher than other companies, but employee benefits were worse and overtime was underpaid.
In summary, she didn’t have any commendable employee packages to brag about.
It’s hard to please everyone.
While he was saying these words, the man’s expression was grim, showing a bit of unbearable bitterness beneath his immense anger. He was a long-standing employee at Southwest Entertainment and had witnessed the company grow stronger step by step to its current status.

The aide came in upon hearing the commotion and escorted the man out in the tense atmosphere.
For a moment, only two people and Shen Ruchu were left in the office.
Shen Ruchu felt so agitated that her internal organs were hurting. After exchanging a few words, she dismissed the two of them with a wave of her hand.
The two of them left, feeling relieved. After leaving the office, both of them were contemplating jumping ship.
Once they found another job offering, they would seize the opportune moment and run away.
Whoever wants to stay at Southwest Entertainment can do so!
A few minutes later, the aide who successfully escorted the man to the finance department returned to the office and stood by.
"Go, go find out what projects VG has been discussing lately, especially those involving Yu Ting."
Shen Ruchu extended her index finger and gave the order.

Yu Ting, who had just arrived home in a luxury car, closed the door as soon as he stepped inside, changed his shoes, slipped into his slippers and walked in, arms stretched over his head, "I’m home."
He hadn’t walked far before he could smell the aroma of home-cooked food from the kitchen. As he approached, he could see Lu Nanchen carrying a dish from the kitchen to the dining table.
The dining table was set with several dishes, freshly made and still steaming hot.
"Hmm, perfect timing. Wash your hands and you can eat."
Lu Nanchen glanced up at Yu Ting before placing the dish on the table. His hands that held the dish were a bit red. It wasn’t clear whether they got this way from washing vegetables with cold water or because the dish was hot.
"Alright." Looking at the fragrant, good-looking food on the table, Yu Ting agreed readily. He washed his hands obediently and sat down at the table.
"Did you just make these?"
"Hmm, I started cooking when I saw that you would be home soon, so it wouldn’t get cold."
