Chapter 359 - 358: Yu Ting Goes Back to School for Remedial Lessons _1

The memories of the original owner indicated that neither of the children, Yu father and Yu mother, gave them any peace. Both were quite mischievous.

Her older brother, Yu Ziwen, was a troublemaker when he was young. He was later sent to the police academy for military-style management. The intention was merely to toughen him up and make him more disciplined. Unexpectedly, the experience went rather well. Yu Ziwen not only thrived in school, but he also excelled in the police department, advancing two ranks in quick succession. He is now the captain of the special police squad.

"Ah..."

Hao Ling voiced her surprise, but no follow-up statement came.

The siblings found this quite strange.

...

Elsewhere.

After saying goodbye to Yu Ting, Yu Ziwen stepped inside, the heaviness of his boots echoing with each methodical and solid step.

A minute or two later, Yu Ziwen spotted Wen Shan waiting nearby. He grinned broadly, leaned slightly to shake his hand, and greeted, "Mr. Wen, I’m here."

"Mm-hmm, the special ops squad is here. There’s someone over there." Wen Shan greeted casually, motioning inside with his fingers.

Following his direction, Yu Ziwen’s gaze landed on Xie Qiuping. He sat down across from her with a smile, crossed his long legs, and slid a piece of paper in front of himself on the table. He then pulled out a pen and held it casually between his fingers.

His eyelashes were clearly visible as he kept his gaze downward.

"Let’s begin, ma’am, please tell me about your situation."

"I’m from the police station."

Xie Qiuping stared at Yu Ziwen, thinking that she had never seen such a police officer at the station before.

He gave off a very strong presence.

"Okay, thank you very much." Xie Qiuping said to him after staring blankly for a minute or two.

Yu Ziwen listened to her as he began to scribble down words on the paper.

Uh...

Although he was a rough-looking man, his handwriting was unexpectedly ugly.

...

The whole process lasted about three to four minutes. Yu Ziwen’s brows furrowed as he listened, his messy handwriting nearly filling up the paper.

He suddenly stopped writing, put a full stop at the end of the sentence, then capped his pen. He got up, bringing the paper along with him.

"I have a rough understanding of the situation now. Miss Xie, could you please accompany me somewhere?"

"We’re going to file a case at the bureau."

...

A few days later. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

When Yu Ting finished recording the second episode of "Dreaming Twenty-first Century", she found herself with more than half a month of free time before preparing for the third episode.

However, during this period, Yu Ting was anything but idle. If she wasn’t dealing with work at VG Entertainment, she was at Chang Ming University catching up on classes she had missed.

Because the dormitory was too comfortable - or in Lu Nanchen’s words, not conducive for studying - Yu Ting had to find a classroom to read in.

Besides some computer science and technology classes, she also sought Lu Nanchen’s help with some math courses.

Employed as a ’freeloader’ and ’supported at home’, Lu Nanchen had also been diligently going to Chang Ming University these past few days.

At this moment, the two were sitting in an empty classroom that wasn’t in session. Yu Ting was in the inner seat, with Lu Nanchen on the outside.

Uh...

Lu Nanchen was diligently keeping Yu Ting in check to prevent her from escaping.

Yu Ting was engrossed in a math book in her seat. The teacher for this subject not only had final exams but had also scheduled mid-term exams, supposedly...

To check on the students’ learning progress and act as a means of motivation.

Lu Nanchen chuckled at this.

This was undoubtedly just another opportunity for Yu Ting to fail again.
