There are four couples in the production crew. We still have half an hour before the agreed time, one couple hasn’t arrived yet. The rest started chatting out of boredom. Soon, the topic turned to Yu Ting. 𝓯𝙧𝓮𝓮𝒘𝓮𝙗𝙣𝒐𝒗𝒆𝓵.𝓬𝓸𝒎
The director, with a smirk on his face, glanced at Yu Ting’s belly: "I heard that Ms. Yu is pregnant. How many months has it been? One month or two?"
"Almost two months."
"That’s nice. By the time we wrap up the show, you will be just over three months pregnant."
The director is a man in his fifties. He is successful in both personal and professional life, looks healthy and free of worries.
After speaking, he raised his hand, stroked his stubbly chin, and made a smug expression: "Don’t worry. Since our production crew invited you here, we did so with utmost sincerity. If anything happens, we’ll immediately stop and get you to a hospital!"
He commented this jovially and ended with a hearty laugh.
He had never seen work as more important than children.
Hearing this, Yu Ting responded with a mild smile, openly stating that the director was a generous person.
After chatting for a few minutes, the fourth couple finally arrived. Looking at them, Yu Ting found them familiar. Both were from the entertainment industry.
Then the director treated couple number four with the same courtesy he had shown Yu Ting and Lu Nanchen not too long ago.
The man was named Liu Siyuan, a gentle and easy-going character. The woman was named Tong Na, giving off a strong, independent woman vibe. They were both A-list actors in the entertainment industry, with several years of experience. The youngest of them, Tong Na, was already 29.
Once the couple had greeted everyone present, the director finally got down to business.
"First of all, welcome to ’We Got Married 2.’ On behalf of the company, I warmly welcome you all."
"The general process of this program is similar to the first season. During the three-day filming, you will stay in a local guesthouse that we have reserved for you in advance. Each couple will have a dedicated cameraman. During the day, they will accompany you and film your activities. To record at night, we will install surveillance cameras in each guest room."
"If you think certain stuff should not be filmed, you could cover up the camera or tell our post-production team to cut that part out. Just speak up, our crew respects your privacy."
"That’s pretty much what I wanted to say. Today’s meeting was mainly held to let you meet each other ahead of time. Now return home, gather your belongings. We meet here at the same time tomorrow, outside the company’s entrance. We gather there before we head out. We’ll be waiting for you."
The director spoke with a smile, expressing his high expectations for the current guests.
All four couples agreed to be punctual and once the meeting was over, everyone dispersed. Before leaving, Yu Ting noticed Xing Zhize’s wife, Qiao Qing, looking at her.
Yu Ting glanced back at her instinctively. Qiao Qing’s youthful flush was still visible on her face, not suggesting any ill intentions.
The two women made eye contact from a distance. It was inconvenient to talk from where they stood, Yu Ting responded with a fleeting smile, then turned and left the company with Lu Nanchen.
Upon returning home, Lu Nanchen rechecked the items in his suitcase, making sure nothing was left behind.
The next morning, the two of them arrived at the company in a Rolls-Royce Ghost once again. Yu Ting alighted first and waited nearby. Lu Nanchen went to the back of the car to fetch the two large suitcases.
He shut the car door with a bang.
Also standing by the company entrance were the other three couples.
