Yu Ting snorted lightly, lifting her head to look at her, "Why would I blame you in the first place? What kind of misunderstanding could there be? You just want to cling to my husband."
The accusation that came out of Yu Ting’s mouth, which was nothing in the beginning, took Yao Yingying back a bit. Yao felt it might damage her reputation and her expression immediately changed to one of panic. She quickly began to defend herself, "That’s not true, I didn’t..."
"Enough, I don’t want to hear it." Yu Ting interrupted Yao Yingying’s explanation coldly, turning her head to look at Lu Nanchen, "Are all the groceries done? Then we should go home."
"Yes, just a bit more and we’re done," said Lu Nanchen. He had been standing there quietly. After he squeezed Yu Ting’s hand, he continued picking groceries.
Yu Ting stood at the doorstep, her hands on her hips, eyeing Yao Yingying.
"It’s not what you think."
"I don’t want to hear it."
After sensing Yao Yingying’s insincere demeanor, Yu Ting did not want to listen to her anymore, too irritating.
"Nothing happened between your husband and me."
"I don’t want to hear it."
"Can’t you at least listen..."
"I don’t want to hear it."
The interrupted and dismissed Yao Yingying: ...
Pent up with unspoken words, Yao Yingying looked truly miserable. Her eyes were filled with tears as she spoke softly, "I am not that kind of person. How can you jump to such bad conclusions about me... I really love Ah-Zheng, what makes you think so ill of me?"
It has to be said that Yao Yingying was cunning. She knew where her beauty’s strength lay. Her light makeup enhancing her natural beauty. With her looks, gestures, and tone of voice, she looked pitiful.
However, her tricks were wasted on Yu Ting, who inherently disdained such melodramatic behaviors.

Yu Ting placed a hand on her stomach protectively, as if to shield her unborn child from Yao Yingying’s words.
Then, Yu Ting tugged at her ear, her expression showing her impatience. She retorted in a voice only the two of them could hear: "Enough, I don’t need to hear more of this. Are you just full of hot air? Don’t you know exactly what you’ve done? Do I need to spell it out for you?"
Yao Yingying kept pinning the blame on Yu Ting, twisting the facts and acting obscenely. Yu Ting had to do something to shut her up.
Yu Ting’s words silenced Yao Yingying. Having wiped away her tears, after saying a few words of farewell, she left. Yu Ting watched her retreating figure, her mind spinning.
If Yao ever harbored any romantic thoughts about Lu Nanchen again, Yu Ting wouldn’t hesitate to take action against her.
She posed a nuisance in the eye.
As she pondered, Lu Nanchen quickly finished grocery shopping and returned to Yu Ting.
Liu Siyuan, who had been an almost silent observer throughout, had completed his shopping too. He was carrying a large basket of Tong Na’s favorite food and heading towards the exit. He paused at the doorway to look at Yu Ting, smiling as he shared his genuine feelings: "I truly admire you two."
After saying that, he couldn’t help but glance at Yu Ting’s not yet prominent belly.
