Without the slightest hesitation, Yu Ting walked faster and flung herself into Lu Nanchen’s arms.
If this were a normal situation, she would not have done this. Yu Ting would have taken a few chairs and fought with those men.
But now was a special time; she had to consider the child in her womb.

The bodyguards were disoriented after a few blows from Lu Nanchen, and the whole scene seemed to pause for a moment.
The man held Yu Ting tightly, dropped a kiss on her forehead, and then moved her behind him. Lu Nanchen stood straight, holding the stick.
His clothes were slightly wrinkled because of the tight embrace earlier.
His hair, blown by the wind on the way there, now fell back from his forehead.
The man was incredibly cool-looking.
Having ensured Yu Ting’s safety, Lu Nanchen twirled the stick in his hand and asked in an excessively deep voice, "What were you guys trying to do to my wife?"
"Huh?"
The bodyguards, immersed in their pain, finally regained their senses and charged at Lu Nanchen with all their might.
Mr. Zhou had said to deal with this man ruthlessly.
After dodging a few times, and grabbing the stick, Lu Nanchen came down with several more blows. Using both hands and feet, he kicked the bodyguards farther away.
One of the bodyguards tried to press down on Lu Nanchen from above, but he quickly sidestepped and stood up, hitting the man’s back with the stick.
The intimate contact between the metal and the bone issued a muffled groan of pain.
After several rounds, the group was scattered by Lu Nanchen. When they saw that they had no chance of winning against Lu Nanchen, one of the bodyguards changed his target and, after catching his breath, he headed towards Yu Ting.
The highly focused woman quickly detected the bodyguard’s intention, and she responded by grabbing a stool and vigorously hitting the bodyguard.
As for whether it hurt or not, Yu Ting didn’t know, but at least she tried her best.
