To befit her, the store owner selected a blue militaristic outfit for Lu Nanchen. He entered the changing room first and took over ten minutes to come out. From a close distance, you could hear the rustling sounds from the small partition.
Lu Nanchen had a little bit of trouble dressing inside. The rare and slightly complex costume took him a while to handle.
Eventually, the faint noises stopped. The door clicked open, and Lu Nanchen walked out. Every edge and corner of his clothes were well-ironed. His collar featured a stand-up design with a few stitches of silver thread. The pattern trailed from the collar down to the clavicle, with three silver-white shiny decorations hanging on the chest. The sleeve design matched the collar. A straight trouser line disappeared into black military boots.
He was accessorized with a matching cape at the elbow.
The weather was too hot, Lu Nanchen was reluctant to wear it.
He buttoned up the full row of buttons and adjusted his hair as he walked out, feeling his current hairstyle was not consistent with the outfit.
Perhaps it would look better if shifted to the side.
The dim light in the room shone on Lu Nanchen, making him seem enigmatic and handsome, with his rugged facial features fascinating to all.
"How does it look?" The first thing Lu Nanchen did after coming out of the fitting room was to go in front of Yu Ting, still twirling his hair. The giant man bent over slightly in front of his beloved woman, overshadowing her petite figure.
"You look great," Yu Ting sincerely commented.
This was beyond appealing to the eyes, it was dazzling, wasn’t it?
"As long as you think it looks good," Lu Nanchen quickly added, before turning to the full-length mirror next to him to scrutinize himself, still unsure about his hairstyle and started to fiddle with it.
Chalking it up to a few upward strokes, Lu Nanchen had no intention to devote more effort into this.
As he was busy with his image, Yu Ting complimented him a few times before taking her clothes into the changing room.
Meanwhile, Lu Nanchen, after critically observing his outfit, shifted closer to the dressing room, hovering protectively.
The store owner laughed and took a sip of tea at the sight of this, "You two make such a loving couple."
"Hmm."
"May I ask, how long have you two been together? Who chased whom? It seems like you two must have known each other for quite a while," he asked out of curiosity, observing their natural interaction.
It’s rare in this world to see someone so good-looking and loyal.
"We’ve been married for over a year," Lu Nanchen responded calmly. As for the next question, who chased whom...
"I pursued her."
The man answered seriously, one word at a time, his stern expression subtly revealing his happiness.
No matter who asked him this question, how many times he was asked.
The answer would always be the same.
"You two are indeed fortunate. When you finish changing, you could take a photo over there. There’s a photo studio at the end of this alley. My shop is too small; you might want to give it a try," the shop owner suggested, "Capture the moment."
"Hmm," Lu Nanchen responded quickly, recalling that their wedding photos were taken somewhat hastily.

As Lu Nanchen was thinking about this, he felt he could’ve handled this matter better.
He planned to find another time to retake the photos.
"What are you thinking about?" A woman’s voice came after several minutes. Yu Ting had changed into her clothes and walked out of the changing room, wearing a porcelain white cheongsam with a stand-up collar, chosen by the store owner.
At the moment, she was walking out, playing with her hair.
