Chapter 508 - 506: Dressing Room Photo Shoot _1

Since ancient times, cheongsams have always done a great job of highlighting a woman’s figure. The one on Yu Ting was no exception - under the thin material, her straight shoulders were particularly prominent, her bust was proudly displayed due to the cheongsam’s special design, and beneath was her slender waist. The contrast between the two gave a strong visual impact. The predominantly white cheongsam had accents of blue and white porcelain designs on the collar, cuffs, and hemline.

It had slits that went up to just above the knees.

Conservatively seductive.

The hair she had swept up occasionally let loose a few strands that cascaded down her face, making her appear even gentler than usual.

"Not really." Lu Nanchen responded, shaking his head slightly. He stepped forward, instinctively draping his coat over Yu Ting then adjusting it. "This dress is beautiful."

Lu Nanchen looked down at the dress once more before adding.

"It’s suitable for wearing at home."

"It’s okay, this is what cheongsams are like - I wouldn’t wear it, too stuffy." Yu Ting said, struggling a little.

Lu Nanchen didn’t respond, but the grip on his jacket tightened significantly, silently conveying his thoughts.

Yu Ting continued to struggle.

Lu Nanchen let out a small sigh, loosened his hand, and again laid his cloak on his elbow, nudging towards Yu Ting.

"Then don’t wear it."

"I also find it stuffy."

The cheongsam Yu Ting was wearing was a bit more bearable, but Lu Nanchen’s warlord attire was much more cumbersome. Even without looking at his face, just the outfit alone would turn heads on the street.

Leaving the store wasn’t really practical. Under the shopkeeper’s instructions, Yu Ting and Lu Nanchen had their likenesses captured on camera right inside the shop without choosing any other spot.

Lu Nanchen and Yu Ting stood shoulder to shoulder in front of the backdrop, with two lamps casting light on them from the side. The photographer and a videographer were also standing close by.

The ones taking pictures focused on their subjects, and the one recording focused on his own task.

The two stood in a common position at first, heads leaning into each other.

Being slightly shorter, Yu Ting just needed to tilt her head to rest it on Lu Nanchen’s shoulder.

Seconds turned into minutes as they maintained this pose, which was then captured with the click of the photographer’s camera.

Afterward, they changed positions. Sometimes their hands rested on their bellies, sometimes sideways, with Lu Nanchen wrapping her in his arms.

Tilting her body sideways and slightly lifting her head, Yu Ting naturally drew attention to her waistline and neckline, displaying a classic ’S’ shape figure. Yet she was blissfully unaware of her allure.

Yu Ting didn’t think much of it, seeing nothing inappropriate.

On the contrary, Lu Nanchen had a deep frown on his face.

Just as the photographer was about to take the shot, Lu Nanchen shifted his body, not only blocking Yu Ting with his own figure but also using the cloak hanging from his elbow to further cover her body.

Only her head and half of her legs were visible.

Click.

The scene was frozen, the photographer took the shot.

Yu Ting was slightly stunned, only feeling the light in front of her eyes dimming considerably, and she wondered, "I planned to hang these photos at home as decorations, but you’re blocking most of me."

What would the photo show now?

His cloak?

"For a photo, showing this much is already enough."

"The rest is for my eyes only."

Lu Nanchen responded nonchalantly, his voice coming from right above Yu Ting’s head.

Due to his shy nature, their subsequent photo poses were nothing short of conservative. After changing positions a few more times, they finished. Under the shopkeeper’s recommendation, they ordered four sets of cheongsams and Zhongshan suits.

A set for Yu Ting’s parents, a set for Lu Nanchen’s parents, a set for Lu Nanchen’s aunt and uncle, and a set for Yu Ting and Lu Nanchen themselves.

Only after completing this, did they exit the shop — Lu Nanchen now wearing a more subdued suit.

The moonlight and the night fell together; the blue stone brick road was bustling with residents. The conversations of adults mingling with the laughter of children meshed harmoniously with the sound of the wind.

By the time it was 6:30 in the evening, the meandering pair found themselves by a stall.

Quite a crowd had gathered around the stall.
