Mingxiu looked at the nervous person and said with a smile, "How is it? Are you nervous? In a little while, we'll stroll around the streets and not go back until it gets dark."
"Yes," Little Hesheli nodded seriously.
Once they reached the street, Mingxiu and Xiaohesheli sat down. They were both dressed in very ordinary clothes and did not have any eunuchs with them. The guards that Kangxi had given to Mingxiu were all there. Mingxiu also brought Qingya along, mainly to have her accompany Xiaohesheli in case anything unexpected happened.
Little Hesheli hadn't been out for a long time, so Mingxiu took her shopping. Whenever they saw something they liked, they would discuss it, decide what to do with it, and then buy it directly.
Eating and strolling along the way made Mingxiu feel like she had returned to modern times and was shopping with her best friend.
"Let me tell you, the cosmetics and perfumes from this store are exceptionally good. The ones I sent to you before were bought here. Let's go in and take a look." Mingxiu said excitedly, pulling Xiaohesheli inside.
Little Hesheli's eyes lit up. No woman dislikes these things, so the two of them happily went inside. Mingxiu glanced around and saw that there were quite a few good new items on display.
"Greetings, ladies. You look unfamiliar. Is this your first time visiting our shop? Would you like me to introduce you?" A pretty young woman standing nearby said with a smile.
Mingxiu shook her head: "No need, let's take a look ourselves first, and we'll call you if we need anything."
"Alright, then ladies, please take your time looking around." With that, the young woman went to look at the guests next to her.
"Come on, let's go take a look at the things here. I've been looking at them for a long time." Mingxiu pulled Xiaohesheli over.
“Sister, this color is so pretty!” Little Hesheli said, holding up the lipstick in her hand.
Mingxiu glanced at it and thought it looked like grapefruit color, but it also seemed to have a bit of an orange tint. It looked very nice, though. Mingxiu nodded: "It really looks great. Why don't you try it on and see how it is?"
Little Hesheli nodded, ready to give it a try.
"Wait a moment."
