Chapter 124 Raising Zombies 15

The tall, handsome man, on the verge of death, had his jaw held tightly by the boy behind him. Crimson blood slid down the corner of his mouth, and his usually expressionless face was now filled with suppressed pain.

The handsome, brooding young man plunged his sharp, white fangs into the man's neck, greedily sucking his blood.

The living room was a complete mess, as if a fierce wind had swept through, suggesting that a fierce fight had taken place there.

"Xiao Li!"

Xiao Li pushed Hunter D away, looked at Xia Linyin, stuck out his tongue and licked away the blood left at the corner of his mouth, the action was extremely bewitching.

"You—" Xia Linyin ran towards him, raised her hand and touched his cheek, "Are you alright?"

Xiao Li smiled, his lips a bewitching red, the curve of which could almost steal a person's heart.

He shook his head, and then, as he often did before, wrapped his arms around Xia Linyin's waist, buried his face in the crook of her neck, and nuzzled her affectionately.

As Xiao Li approached, a strong smell of blood filled Xia Linyin's nostrils. She frowned and looked at Hunter D, who was lying on the ground convulsing.

She knew Hunter D was doomed; being bitten on the neck by a zombie was tantamount to a death sentence, and he would soon turn into a zombie himself.

Hunter D clutched his neck, warm blood seeping from between his fingers. When he saw Xia Linyin looking at him, he actually said, "Your zombies suck human blood."

Hearing his words, Xia Linyin almost laughed in anger. She felt that Hunter D was particularly unreasonable and couldn't understand why someone who seemed indifferent and didn't care about anything would be so stubborn about this.

"Even a rabbit will bite when cornered. You came here just to prove my zombie bites? Fine, you succeeded. Yes, my zombie drinks human blood, and then—"

Xia Linyin said, "You'll become a zombie too. Will you kill yourself then?"

“I won’t turn into a zombie.” Hunter D shook his head, then added after a pause, “I also won’t drink blood.”

The veins on the back of his hand were bulging, as if he was trying his best to endure some kind of pain.

However, no black corpse poison spread around the neck, indicating that this was not a process of stiffening.

Xia Linyin exclaimed in surprise. Just as she was about to approach Hunter D, she realized something was wrong with her feet. Looking down, she saw that her feet were slowly disappearing.

Xia Linyin quickly looked up at Xiao Li, and noticed that Xiao Li's eyes had turned purple at some point.

It was blue just a moment ago.

Black, blue, red, purple—Xiao Li skipped red and went straight to purple. Considering that Hunter D didn't turn into a zombie, this is probably related to him drinking Hunter D's blood. Hunter D's blood is not ordinary human blood.

Mysterious and alluring purple easily gives people a sense of nobility. Such eyes are extremely beautiful, as beautiful as the finest and most exquisite purple diamonds, so beautiful that they are breathtaking.

But now, those purple eyes were filled with heartbreaking panic and helplessness as Xiao Li watched Xia Linyin's legs disappear and let out a terrified scream.

As if sensing something, Xiao Li hugged Xia Linyin tightly, large tears rolling down her cheeks. The tears weren't transparent; they were a faint crimson.

"Don't look, don't cry." Xia Linyin reached out and covered his eyes. "I'm fine, don't worry about me. Be good, don't be afraid, because we will meet again."

Xia Linyin's heart suddenly ached as she prepared to part ways with the adorable zombie Xiao Li. "Xiao Li, take care of yourself."

The delicate hand covering his eyes disappeared, and light returned to his vision. Xia Linyin was no longer in the living room. Xiao Li frantically searched everywhere, as if Xia Linyin hadn't left and was just playing hide-and-seek with him as before.

"Xiao Li, dinner's ready! I've made you some watermelon juice!"

Xiao Li jumped into the kitchen, excitedly rushing towards the woman who was shaking a cup at him, her eyes crinkling with laughter, but he missed her; there was nothing in his arms.

"Xiao Li! Stop playing on the computer! Come and watch TV with me!"

Xiao Li quickly jumped into the living room. The woman who was nestled on the sofa with a cushion in her arms gave him a slight smile and then disappeared.

"Xiao Li! You've torn your clothes again! You tear them one after another, do you not want to run around naked?! Go stand in the corner and reflect on your actions! Pleading won't work!"

Xiao Li jumped onto the balcony, but then a voice came from behind her, "Xiao Li..."

"Xiao Li..."

"Xiao Li..."

"Ah—" Xiao Li let out a painful roar. His shoulders slumped, and he whimpered like a young animal abandoned by its parents.

The sobbing gradually subsided, tears hanging from the tip of his delicate, high nose before dripping down. As if remembering something, he pursed his lips slightly, and after a moment, he opened his mouth, "Sister... Sister..."

It seemed that because his vocal cords hadn't been used to speak, he spoke with some difficulty, his voice hoarse as if it were being scraped across sandpaper.

“Sister…” This time, he spoke much more fluently.

The next second, Xiao Li turned into countless starlight and disappeared from the spot.
