She carefully examined the dwarves; each of their expressions was so genuine that she couldn't find the slightest flaw.
If she hadn't experienced it herself, even she would have doubted whether she had wronged them.
Her gaze remained fixed on the fifth dwarf. "Whether what you say is true or false, Snow White will not appear out of thin air, nor will she disappear into thin air. I will find her, and she will reappear before you, whether you like it or not."
The fifth dwarf was getting angry. "My young lady, are you out of your mind? Why would I want to know someone called Snow White? I know everything about the surrounding countries, and there has never been a Snow White. I would never entrust her to a stranger. If you don't believe me, you can ask my brothers."
"That's right, you madman, I dare to testify for my brother's words."
"I can also testify that we eat and sleep together every day, and we have never seen Snow White."
If the fifth dwarf was merely angry, the rest of the dwarfs treated Linghu Lan with utter disrespect.
"Get out of our house right now! I suspect you're a thief trying to steal our fire boots."
"Third brother, don't say that. We can't stoop to the level of an ignorant village woman."
The dwarves looked at him with hostility; clearly, Linghu Lan's words had angered them.
Linghu Lan laughed, pointing at the eldest dwarf. "Your brothers will testify for you? You're all just his differentiated personalities, like a person wearing seven different colored pants, trying to testify for themselves. Do you think I'd believe that?"
The dwarves were horrified.
"How did you know? This is our secret!"
“I’m pretty sure we never told her this secret.”
"So, did we tell someone else? Did she hear it from somewhere else and deliberately try to confuse us?"
"No, we didn't tell anyone else either. She couldn't possibly have found out from anyone else. Unless, she's a witch!!!"
Witch? ???
Linghu Lan: "..."
The dwarves exchanged glances and immediately surrounded Linghu Lan.
The older dwarf said, “I’m pretty sure you just wanted to steal my fire boots so we couldn’t deal with you. Now your trick has been exposed.”
Linghu Lan couldn't help but chuckle.
"Are you afraid of the truth I'm telling and trying to frame me?"
The elder dwarf said sternly, “If you are not a witch, touching the fire boots on the wall will be fine, but if you are a witch, you will feel the pain in your soul!”
Upon hearing this, Linghu Lan was immediately stunned.
As soon as she came in, she touched the fire boots with her hand and actually felt a burning pain in her soul.
If the dwarf's statement is true, then wouldn't she be considered a witch?
Wow!
Have you ever seen a witch who doesn't even know magic?
The dwarves drew closer step by step.
"That's right. If you're not a witch, touching the boots won't cause any problems. Do you dare to touch the boots and prove yourself?"
"Touch your boots, or don't blame us for being rude."
The dwarves had all sorts of tools in hand, and were preparing to besiege Linghu Lan.
Linghu Lan's eyes turned slightly cold. With a nimble movement, she appeared beside the older dwarf, brandishing a dagger and holding it to his neck.
"Don't move!"
