The dwarves were stunned.
"Only a witch could move that fast, she really is a witch!"
"Let go of the boss, or you'll die a horrible death! We'll never let you get away with this!"
Linghu Lan brandished the dagger and laughed, "You won't let me go? I'm curious, since you are his split personalities, if he dies, will you still live?"
"No!!!" the dwarves screamed!
"We will die, we will disappear from this world like bubbles."
"Don't hurt him, we promise we won't hurt you."
"Let him go right now!"
The dwarves discarded their tools.
Linghu Lan sighed silently. This fairy tale world was anything but fairy tale. She never expected that she would become a robber.
"I just want to ask one last question: Have you really never seen Snow White?"
The older dwarf hurriedly said, "I swear on my fire boots, if we ever see Snow White, may we lose one of our brothers."
The other dwarves nodded in agreement.
Linghu Lan looked at everyone, and this time, she was truly in despair.
The dwarves' words didn't seem like lies at all.
She dejectedly released the older dwarf and turned to leave the dwarfs' dreamlike house.
Once outside the house, she still had three paths in front of her, and she walked straight down the left path.
The dwarves said that the road to the left leads to Snow White's kingdom, where the wicked witch queen resides. This is the last place Snow White is connected to, and she is determined to see it no matter what.
Following the winding path through the dark forest entwined with purple vines, Linghu Lan finally reached the edge of the forest. The moment she stepped out of the forest, the vines and thorns behind her rushed over once again, obscuring the path.
The dark forest doesn't welcome unfamiliar visitors; it seems to be open only to certain people.
With this thought in mind, Linghu Lan continued walking into the city.
Not long after they stepped outside, a daring idea popped into their head: the dwarves had just made a vow: if they saw Snow White, they would lose one of their brothers!
In fact, this vow has already been fulfilled.
Assuming the dwarves were not lying from beginning to end, and that they had seen Snow White when she first met them, the fifth dwarf turned evil and was no longer a kind dwarf. In a spiritual sense, this was a betrayal; the dwarves had actually lost one of their brothers.
The second time she met the dwarves, they said they hadn't seen Snow White. At this point, the fifth dwarf was still kind. If the dwarves weren't lying, then the only possibility is that she traveled back in time, to before the dwarves met Snow White!
Only in this way will everything make sense!
Having figured this out, Linghu Lan suddenly turned around and looked at the Dark Forest in surprise. The flow of time in the Dark Forest was different from that in the outside world.
Or is there a time-traveling magic in the dark forest that can take people back to the past?
Linghu Lan was momentarily confused.
She didn't know what conditions she had triggered that would cause her to return to the time before the dwarves met Snow White.
There must be a reason for this!
She looked at the dark forest, sighed silently, and did not return to the dark forest, but continued to walk forward!
She was afraid that if she returned to the Dark Forest, time would have changed again, and she wouldn't be able to tell what was real and what wasn't, and things would be in complete chaos, although things weren't much better now!
