Chapter 125 Severing Ties Part 2 (1/2)

The day after the Su family signed the severance agreement, Su Xingran went to the police station accompanied by her father. Since Su Wenxing wanted to see her, she would let him see her and, incidentally, sign the severance agreement.

When Su Xingran and her father arrived at the police station, everyone recognized her and greeted her warmly. Su Xingran explained her purpose to the police officers. They said it was no problem and would arrange things for her immediately.

Old Mrs. Su, who was locked up in her house in a daze, was overjoyed when the police informed her that someone had come to visit. Finally, someone had come to see her; Old Mrs. Su wanted to go out and didn't want to be locked up here anymore.

Old Mrs. Su was led to the meeting room, and she didn't expect the person who came to visit to be Su Xingran. The excitement in her heart was instantly extinguished; she didn't believe that Su Xingran had come to rescue her.

Su Xingran suggested seeing Old Lady Su first, and as she looked at Old Lady Su, her excitement turned to disappointment. She had experienced this feeling all too well in her past life, and now, looking back, she didn't seem particularly excited anymore.

"You've come to see me...to...to release me?" Old Mrs. Su hesitated for a long time before finally asking.

"I've come to see you, or you could say I've come to rescue you. Here are three agreements; sign them, and you'll be out soon." Su Xingran had nothing to say to Old Lady Su; she just wanted to finish the mission quickly.

Upon hearing Su Xingran say that she had been rescued, Old Lady Su's eyes widened. She was about to speak excitedly when Su Xingran's next words made her uneasy.

"What agreement? What's it for? What's the point of me signing it?" Old Mrs. Su asked anxiously, wanting to know the answer.

"The severance agreement was signed by everyone in the Su family except for you and Su Wenxing, who are both detained in the police station."

"What did you say? A severance agreement? Your father wants us to sever ties? Did he propose it, or did you?" Old Mrs. Su was incredulous; her son wanted to sever ties with her.

"It doesn't matter who proposed it. Just know that once you sign, you and your eldest grandson can leave." Su Xingran couldn't bear to see her father come in and face her mother. After all, she was her father's biological mother, but Su Xingran didn't have the patience to say much.

Hearing that she and her eldest grandson could leave after signing the agreement, Old Lady Su was hesitant, but the desire to leave overcame all her reservations.

"I can't write, so I can't write my name," Old Mrs. Su said somewhat awkwardly, revealing her weakness.

Su Xingran knew she was illiterate and was prepared. Yesterday, Su's father called her "Eldest Son" and wrote down Old Lady Su's name. Old Lady Su only needed to put her fingerprint on it.

Su Xingran took out the inkpad and the agreement, and opened them in front of Old Lady Su. "Put your finger on the inkpad and press it down, then press it on your name." Su Xingran pointed to the three characters "He Ermei" and had Old Lady Su press her fingerprint on it.

After Old Lady Su pressed her handprint, Su Xingran packed her things and turned to leave. "Su..." Old Lady Su was about to call out to Su Xingran when Su Xingran had already reached the door.

After meeting with Old Lady Su, Su Xingran waited for the police to bring Su Wenxing over. The meeting place was the same meeting room as before. After Su Xingran came out, Old Lady Su was led out of the meeting room.

Su Wenxing was somewhat surprised to learn that Su Xingran had come to see him. After all, he had been requesting to see Su Xingran, but had received no response.

The police led Su Wenxing into the meeting room, where Su Xingran was already seated. Su Wenxing sat down opposite Su Xingran, staring intently at her.

"Su Xingran, I want to leave. You should drop the case." These were the first words Su Wenxing said to Su Xingran.
