Both Su Xingran and Xiao Xue were certain that they hadn't had any conflicts with anyone. Huang Zhenhua didn't ask any further questions, deciding to wait and see how things went after Taihe came out.
Upon entering the place where the criminal suspects were being held, Huang Taihe saw a doctor treating people's injuries. He turned around and asked the policeman who had brought him in.
"What's going on? Didn't I tell you to take me to find the suspect who arrested my sister?" Huang Taihe asked.
The police officer hesitated for a moment before finally speaking. "Sir, these four are the suspects, but they are injured and need medical treatment."
"These people tried to arrest Su and Xiao. Su resisted and fought back, and in the end, Su subdued them. When we arrived after receiving the report, the suspects were lying on the ground."
Huang Taihe was a little curious about the extent of those people's injuries, which required the use of a doctor. "Tell me, where are these people injured?"
"Two suspects had broken arms, one of them had a leg injury that prevented him from standing, and he was stabbed in the back. The other two suspects had a broken nose and various injuries on their faces. The other had injuries to his genitals and also various injuries on his face."
After the policeman finished speaking, he secretly glanced at Huang Taihe, wanting to know what Huang Taihe's expression was.
After hearing what the policeman said, Huang Taihe's eyes flashed with surprise. He had previously heard Brother Tai'an talk about Xingran's methods for dealing with the enemies of the Sakura Kingdom. Now it seemed that the more refined a person was, the more ruthless and powerful they were.
The doctor came out and said to the police, "I've done some basic treatment; there's no danger to his life."
Huang Taihe walked inside and looked at the four men who were calling him "father" and "mother." His eyes were filled with coldness. He knew how humiliating the two girls would have been tonight if Xingran hadn't known martial arts.
"Who ordered you to arrest those two girls?" Huang Taihe's serious and cold words reached the ears of the four men who were wailing.
The four men looked up at the sound and saw a man in military uniform staring at them with sharp eyes. A bad feeling washed over them; the officers who had arrested them were policemen, but this man was a soldier.
They were just street thugs who had seen all sorts of people. Seeing the respectful attitude of the police officers following behind them towards the man in military uniform, they both realized they had bitten off more than they could chew.
The ringleader was quick-witted. If the plan failed, they wouldn't get the money; saving their lives was the priority. "Sir, if we confess, could you please be lenient with us?"
"Oh? Then we'll see if what you confess is useful or valuable." Huang Taihe knew these thugs were very cunning.
"We can guarantee that we are telling the truth, but can you guarantee that we will be treated leniently if we tell the truth?"
The thug leading the group wasn't stupid. He knew that even if he spoke up, the result might be the same, but he still had to try and see if he could gain something for himself.
Huang Taihe stopped talking, took out his military officer's ID from his pocket, walked up to the thug, opened the ID, and showed him the inside page.
The thug was literate enough to read a few words. Looking at the identification document in the ID, he swallowed hard and asked with a mournful face, "Who are those two women to you?"
Huang Taihe took the documents back and put them in his pocket. "One is my sister, and the other is my sister-in-law. Now you can tell the truth!"
