Gu Moli felt his clothes being torn, and the tip of the knife slicing through his abdominal flesh. Gu Moli gasped, and with all his might, he grabbed the man's right hand and stabbed the knife into the left side of the man's abdomen.
The man reacted and resisted with his left hand, but Gu Moli grabbed his hand with her own. Without any support, the man's leg, weakened by the gunshot wound, was forced backward by Gu Moli.
Gu Moli looked at the shadow of the large tree ahead and continued to force the man back. The man retreated to the tree with his back pressed against the trunk. Gu Moli used his knee to push against the man's leg and forcefully stabbed the knife in the man's hand into his abdomen.
With a "thud," the sound of a knife piercing flesh rang out, and the man gritted his teeth and cursed angrily. Gu Moli gripped the man's hand holding the knife tightly and thrust it forward. The knife pierced the flesh, the blade disappearing inch by inch until only the hilt remained visible.
The man, in pain, rammed his forehead against Gu Moli's forehead, but Gu Moli turned his head away, and the man's forehead missed its target. Gu Moli moved his knee from the man's leg to between his legs and forcefully thrust it upwards.
"Ah..." The scream pierced Gu Moli's ears. He released the man's left hand and also his right hand. With his hands free, Gu Moli raised his fists and punched the man in the temple.
Gu Moli pulled the knife out of the man's abdomen, then, with his back to him, executed an over-the-shoulder throw, slamming the man hard to the ground. Gu Moli gasped for breath, the pain from his wounds excruciating.
Gu Moli picked up the flashlight, found his gun, and shot the man twice in the knees, and also shot him in the right wrist. Exhausted, Gu Moli collapsed to the ground after doing all this.
Meanwhile, fierce fighting raged on the other side, with Gu Moli's comrades battling the six men. Finding no opportunity to use their guns, they resorted to their fists, feet, and knives.
The six foreign men were no ordinary men either; each was exceptionally skilled and adept at close combat. Even though the Chinese soldiers outnumbered them, they couldn't defeat the foreign invaders quickly.
Shao Fei and his men were worried about Gu Moli, who had been shot. Seeing Gu Moli, wounded, chasing after someone, they were helpless. The soldiers' spirit rallied them to fight to the very last moment.
As time passed, both sides sustained injuries of varying degrees. Of course, the foreign men were more seriously injured. With no sign of the third squad arriving to provide support, Shao Fei and the others suspected their squad had encountered trouble.
The third squad discovered two foreign invaders two kilometers away from Shao Fei and his group. They also engaged in battle there, with the two teams fighting fiercely.
The foreign invaders were defeated by the third squad; two invaders were shot, and one member of the third squad was also shot. They continued forward with the invaders, intending to rejoin the first and second squads.
After a fierce and desperate fight, the first and second squads finally prevailed. They tied up the foreign men, everyone panting heavily, their wounds throbbing with pain.
Shao Fei and Zhang He rushed towards the place where Gu Moli had disappeared. When they saw Gu Moli lying motionless on the ground ahead, their hearts leaped into their throats.
