Chapter 177 Excessive Blood Loss (2/2)

Zhang He nodded upon hearing Shao Fei's words, "Okay, I'll go back and find someone to help. Take good care of Mo Li, I'll be back soon."

After Zhang He left, Shao Fei kept talking to Gu Moli, worried that if Gu Moli fell asleep, he wouldn't have a chance to wake up. Shao Fei could clearly feel that Gu Moli's hands were getting cold.

Zhang He rushed back to the third squad, who were already there. "Quick, help find Mo Li's backpack and get his water bottle. Four of you come with me, Doctor Qin, you come with us too. Mo Li is wounded, two bullets in the back, one in the abdomen, and a knife cut."

The six people rushed to where Gu Moli was. When they arrived, they saw Shao Fei kneeling on the ground, shirtless and sobbing. Their hearts sank.

"Mo Li!" Zhang He was the first to run over, followed by the five others. Shao Fei looked up at the sound and excitedly called out when he saw who it was.

"Dr. Qin, come quick! Mo Li's hands and feet are ice cold, and he's starting to lose consciousness."

Doctor Qin put down his medicine box and knelt on one knee to check on Gu Moli's condition. "Moli has lost too much blood and is showing symptoms now. Quickly start a fire. If you have any clothes in your backpacks, go and get them, or take off your clothes and cover him with them."

A comrade-in-arms caught up from behind carrying Gu Moli's backpack. Shao Fei took the backpack, unzipped it, and looked for a water bottle inside. There was a training uniform underneath the backpack, which Shao Fei took out.

When the training uniform was taken out, a small metal box fell out. Shao Fei saw it, picked it up, and was about to throw it into his backpack when he glanced at the surface of the box.

The box was labeled "Quick-Rescue Life-Saving Pills." Shao Fei paused, remembering a small package Mo Li had received half a month ago. Mo Li had returned with the package, a smile on his face, and Shao Fei had teased him, asking if he'd received something from a girl, his smile so radiant.

Mo Li was unpacking the package; inside was just a bottle and a small tin box. The author kept teasing Mo Li, pressing her with questions, and eventually Mo Li said it was sent by Su Xingran.

Shao Fei remembered that while on a mission at the Beijing Railway Station, he later learned from the Beijing Military Region that Mo Li's uncle was a renowned military doctor. Comrade Su Xingran was Mo Li's uncle's apprentice.

Thinking of this, Shao Fei became excited and walked over to Gu Moli with the small tin box. "Dr. Qin, take a look at the pills in this small tin box and see if Moli can take them."

Doctor Qin took the small tin box and opened it. Inside were five small pills. He brought it closer and smelled a medicinal odor, but he couldn't be sure what it was.

"Where did the pills in this little tin box come from?" Doctor Qin asked Shao Fei.

"It was sent to Mo Li by Mo Li's uncle's apprentice." Shao Fei said this, then thought for a moment and whispered a name in Qin Junyi's ear.

Doctor Qin's eyes widened, and then he excitedly said to Shao Fei, "Then quickly find a way to get Mo Li to take it."

Shao Fei walked over and squatted down next to Gu Moli. "Moli, can you hear me? Can you hear what I'm saying? I found a small metal box in your backpack with a small pill inside."

"Mo Li, can you swallow the pill if I feed it to you?" Shao Fei said several times, but Gu Mo Li didn't respond. In desperation, Shao Fei thought of someone.

"Mo Li, do you still remember Comrade Su Xingran? Do you want to go back to Beijing to see her? She sent you some medicine powder and pills. Would you like to take the pills she sent you?"

This time, Gu Moli reacted. He saw that Shao Fei's consciousness had temporarily returned, and Gu Moli nodded gently.
