Jiang Caiqin watched in surprise as Guo Ni received her meat and left with Qian Duoduo. What about her own food?
When Guo Ni returned to the educated youth compound, he wanted Qian Duoduo to come into the dormitory, but Qian Duoduo refused. She stood by the wall by the door, where it was sheltered from the wind and not too cold. When she saw Guo Ni coming over, she immediately asked, "Sister Guo, are you good at hunting?"
Guo Ni said with a smile, "I did go hunting with my dad when I was at home, but in our area we only see pheasants and such. I've never seen any large wild animals like wild boars."
Qian Duoduo exclaimed in surprise, "Sister Guo, you're amazing!"
Guo Ni said, "Duo Duo, I need to tidy up my closet. Are you going home, or are you waiting for me?"
Qian Duoduo said, "I'll wait for you. Brother Qian Xiang will come over in a bit, and I'll go back with him."
Guo Ni nodded and went back to her room. She quickly tidied up her cabinet, since there was still some food left from a while ago. Originally, she had kept her food in the kitchen, but she found that she was eating it up quite quickly, so she brought it back. Every time she cooked, she would take the food from the bag and bring it to the kitchen herself.
She had her own suspicions, but without any evidence, it was better to take matters into her own hands.
When Jiang Caiqin and the others returned, they saw Guo Ni and Qian Duoduo chatting in the yard. Liu Yuan asked, "Guo Ni, why are you back so soon?"
Guo Ni said with a smile, "I'll tidy up my closet first when I get back."
Liu Yuan nodded, without asking any further questions.
Qian Duoduo said, "Sister Guo, there's a market at the commune in a few days. Do you want to go? If you do, I'll come find you."
Guo Ni knew that market was the last one before the New Year. She smiled and said, "I'll go. I'll go to the commune and send some grain back to my family."
Upon hearing this, Jiang Caiqin immediately said, "Nini, if you send the food home, is there enough left for you to eat?"
Guo Ni nodded: "That's enough."
