Chapter 259 Still Talking Even When Facing Death

Liu Dahai had his ribs almost broken by Xu Zijiang, and now he was being choked. He couldn't breathe and could only cough as he answered questions with difficulty, but he still refused to admit his crimes.

"Ha, still stubborn even when death is imminent!"

Xu Zijiang suppressed the urge to tear him to pieces, twisted his hands behind his back, grabbed his neck, and dragged him back to the carriage. The train conductor knew something was wrong when Xu Zijiang chased after him; instead of following, he opened the bag, revealing the child inside.

Sure enough, the traffickers had stuffed the child into the bag. The train attendant quickly took An'an out and placed her on the seat, patting her little face to try to wake her up. However, An'an had been drugged and was sleeping very soundly. No matter how much the attendant patted her, she didn't move. The attendant thought she had been smothered to death and was almost scared to death. Fortunately, she could still feel An'an's breathing, which made her feel a little relieved.

At this moment, Xu Zijiang also dragged the man back. When he saw An'an lying silently on the seat, he was so frightened that his heart almost stopped.

"An'an, An'an, are you alright? Open your eyes and look at Daddy! An'an!"

Xu Zi reached out her hand with heartache, and the train conductor quickly explained.

"She's fine, she's just asleep. She was probably drugged, but she should be alright once the effects wear off."

"An'an, don't worry, Daddy will make sure nothing happens to you!"

Xu Zi tenderly touched his daughter's face, then grabbed Liu Dahai by the neck and slapped him twice, cutting his mouth and drawing blood.

"What do you have to say now? Where is the other child? Tell me right now, or I'll kill you!"

Xu Zi slammed Liu Dahai against the carriage wall and slammed his head against it several times, making him dizzy. Liu Dahai stubbornly refused to admit it, gritting his teeth and shaking his head.

"I don't know what you're talking about. I didn't steal a child. I just saw a bag under the seat, and nobody was around. I just wanted to steal something. I didn't know there was a child inside! I'm not a child trafficker. You've got the wrong person!"

"Still trying to deny it!"

With a cold face, Xu Zi kicked the man hard again in front of everyone, this time directly in the man's groin.

"ah!!!"

Liu Dahai screamed in agony, cold sweat instantly pouring down his back. He tried to cover his groin, but Xu Zijiang held him down, twisting his shoulder backward and dislocating it.

"Will you tell me or not?"

Xu Zijiang stared coldly at him, his eyes brewing a storm capable of destroying the world. It seemed that if he didn't tell the truth, Xu Zijiang would do something even crueler to him in the next second. No matter how tough a man's bones are, he couldn't withstand this kind of torture. Seeing that Xu Zijiang was about to press his head against the car again, he quickly begged for mercy.

"I was wrong, it was me, I was wrong, I won't do it again!"

“I don’t know where the other child is either; he’s the one who hid him.”

Liu Dahai dared not hide it any longer. He pointed with his chin to his accomplice, who was still unconscious from the electric shock, tied up, and thrown on the ground.

He actually knew roughly where his accomplice had hidden the person, since there were only a few places where people could hide. But the man also felt it was unfair; they were all human traffickers, so why was he the only one being punished? So he decisively betrayed his accomplice, thinking that if they were going to suffer, they would suffer together!

"Tie him up too."

Upon hearing this, Xu Zi slammed his head against the carriage wall several times, like cracking a walnut, before throwing him into the hands of the train conductor and ordering them to tie him up.

The ferocity in his eyes hadn't subsided, and he didn't bother with any gentleness, directly stepping on the genitals of his human trafficker accomplice lying on the ground.

This kind of person doesn't even deserve to be called a man, he doesn't even deserve to be called a human being. This kind of scum, who deserves to be struck by lightning, shouldn't have children. What's the point of keeping this thing alive? Just crush it!

"ah!!!"

"mine***!"

Sure enough, the trick worked very well; the man who had been stunned by the electric shock immediately woke up with a scream.

"Tell me, where did you hide the other child? Don't try to play tricks on me, or I'll make sure this piece of trash is completely wiped out!"

Xu Zijiang looked down at him dangerously.

Looking at his pitiful accomplice and then at the little girl who had already been found, the man knew that there was no point in being stubborn. This man would teach him a lesson, so to avoid further physical pain, he simply said...

"In the bag in the middle of that pile of luggage."

He gestured with his chin towards the pile of luggage in front of him. It was neatly arranged and showed no signs of being moved. They had also done a quick check but found nothing. Xu Zijiang had also overlooked this place. The more obvious something is, the easier it is to miss.

Xu Zijiang felt a chill run down his spine, realizing he should be even more cautious in the future. With a grim face, he went over and moved all the other luggage aside, then took out the little girl from the bag in the middle.

"They've all been found, so we can rest easy now."

Both children were found safe and sound, and the train conductor breathed a huge sigh of relief. The couple's ID cards were not ordinary; if the children hadn't been found, they would probably have been implicated, since they were in charge of this train.

"I'll take the child back first, and then interrogate them later to find out if they have any accomplices."

Xu Zijiang gave the instructions, and even after finding the two children, his expression remained grim.

"OK."

The train conductor nodded hesitantly in agreement. Xu Zi picked up the two children and was about to walk towards his carriage when Yu Jiu and the old man, who had heard the news, also rushed over, followed by a large group of people, among whom was a bald, pot-bellied middle-aged man being held captive.

"An'an, An'an, are you alright? It's all my fault, waaaaah."

When the child was found, Yu Jiu's pent-up emotions finally burst forth, and tears streamed down her face. She staggered over, carrying Yuan Yuan in her arms, and saw her daughter lying there silently. She felt both heartache and guilt.

"Nannan! Why isn't she awake yet? Is she alright? What happened to her?"

The old man, holding his granddaughter, asked in a panic, "Tonight was terrifying enough. If I weren't in good health, I would have fainted from fright."

"Being drugged is like falling asleep, it's not a big deal, they'll be fine once they wake up."

"Don't cry, wife. It's not your fault. An'an won't blame you. Blame these heartless beasts."

After Xu Zijiang explained An'an and Nannan's situation, he squatted down and hugged Yu Jiu to comfort him. Yu Jiu certainly didn't want this to happen either, especially since he was sleeping right next to them. Who would have thought that just going to the toilet for three or four minutes would result in the child being stolen?

He's the one to blame; he shouldn't have fallen asleep so quickly and wasn't alert enough to have the child taken away without even realizing it. Yu Jiu usually tells him when she goes to the bathroom to keep an eye on An'an. Tonight, he was already asleep, and Yu Jiu didn't want to wake him, so she didn't say anything.

"Yes, it's good that the person has been found. Go back to your carriages, it's late at night, let everyone get some rest."

"By the way, who is this person you arrested?"
