After standing there for a while, Shen Qingqing and Chen Man couldn't stand the heat surging from the stove anymore. They told Li Yuxing and went back upstairs, then told the others who were waiting to eat the names of the dishes.
After waiting for almost an hour, Shen Qingqing and her group's table finally started receiving their dishes one after another.
It's incredibly fragrant and has a wonderful wok hei (wok aroma).
The only downside was that the rice in the bowl was a bit soggy.
But there's nothing we can do about it. That's how rice is sold outside. It's all steamed in large machine steamers, and the rice used isn't of very high quality.
If you're really that picky, then you shouldn't eat it at all.
Peanut milk and Wanglaoji herbal tea are drinks that the elders will not refuse to let the children drink at this meal.
However, after eating too much, even if you want a drink, there's no room left in your stomach.
It took an hour to wait for the food, and another hour to eat. We finally finished eating around 2 PM.
But after eating, no one wanted to move. Shen Hong was so sleepy that she leaned against Shen Rongzhou, her eyes half-closed and her pupils lifeless.
Looking at Li Chunchun and Shen Yangyang, although they weren't as sleepy as Shen Hong who could fall asleep immediately, their eyes weren't as bright as they were when they were playing in the morning.
Only Shen Qingqing and Chen Man could be considered to have some spirits.
After discussing it, the adults decided to go back to the hotel to rest first, then stroll around the nearby pedestrian street and food street in the afternoon and evening, and then go to the water park tomorrow.
When this decision was told to Shen Qingqing and Chen Man, the children obediently nodded in agreement.
After walking from the restaurant to the hotel, my stomach, which had been very full, had shrunk considerably. After returning to our respective rooms, we washed our hands and faces, wiped our backs, and went to sleep.
Li Xunli slept in the same room as Shen Qingqing and Shen Yangyang, while Shen Rongzhou slept with Shen Hong.
She slept for the entire afternoon, and by the time Shen Qingqing woke up, it was already past five or six o'clock.
"Ah..." Shen Qingqing didn't feel anything while lying down, but when she tried to sit up, she felt as if her whole body had been hit by a hammer, and her muscles and tendons ached.
Her whimpering woke up Shen Yangyang, who got up and asked in a panic, "What's wrong, sister?"
"My body hurts..." Shen Qingqing lay on the pillow, her little face scrunched up.
When Li Xunli returned from outside the room and saw that both children were alright, she first asked, "Are you hungry?" Then she noticed Shen Qingqing lying there with a mournful face and quickly asked, "Dabao, what's wrong with you?"
Shen Qingqing was in so much pain that she didn't want to speak, so Shen Yangyang quickly answered for her sister: "Sister said she's in pain all over!"
"Mom, you need to take my sister to see a doctor right away!"
After hearing the answer, Li Xunli smiled, turned around and went into the bathroom to fiddle with things for a while. She came out with a towel and then explained to her two daughters: "It's okay, it's because your sister played too much this morning. Come here, come to Mommy."
The last sentence was said to Shen Qingqing.
Upon hearing Li Xunli's words, Shen Qingqing, like a little worm, slowly crawled over to Li Xunli and continued to lie down beside her.
The next second, a warm towel was placed on her legs, and Li Xunli massaged Shen Qingqing's legs again and again through the towel.
"Ah!" Shen Qingqing cried out uncontrollably.
Li Xunli showed no sign of holding back, and Shen Qingqing, who was already in pain, was in even more pain from the pressure and rubbing. The pain made Shen Qingqing wish she could just roll away three miles away.
"Yangyang, come here, hold your sister down!" Li Xunli noticed that Shen Qingqing was trying to run away, so she called on Shen Yangyang, who was watching from the side.
Upon hearing that she still had things to do, Shen Yangyang giggled and pounced on Shen Qingqing, pressing down tightly on her other arm.
"Ouch! Shen Yangyang, let go! It hurts! It hurts!"
The same sore arm felt completely different under Li Xunli's kneading versus under Shen Yangyang's violent punishment.
Shen Qingqing screamed.
"Yangyang, sit on your sister's butt!" Li Xunli said, making Shen Yangyang move to a different spot.
Sure enough, after Shen Yangyang changed locations, Shen Qingqing stopped complaining and waited like a salted fish for Li Xunli to finish massaging her.
While they were dealing with this, Shen Rongzhou arrived with Shen Hong.
When Li Xunli went to check on him, Shen Hong was still asleep. As soon as he woke up, Shen Rongzhou brought him here.
Upon entering the room and seeing Shen Qingqing like this, Shen Rongzhou asked, both amused and exasperated, "What happened?"
Li Xunli smiled, massaged Shen Qingqing's arm from top to bottom, then moved to the other side and replied, "I played around like crazy this morning, and when I woke up, my whole body ached."
Shen Rongzhou laughed after hearing this, turned around and went into the bathroom to wring out another towel, then came out and draped it over Shen Qingqing's legs, where he and Li Xunli each pressed on one side of her leg.
Shen Yangyang was naturally driven away.
Shen Rongzhou was stronger than Li Xunli, but his strength was far superior to Shen Yangyang's reckless and forceful approach. After groaning a couple more times, Shen Qingqing fell silent.
I just flip my head over from time to time to avoid my neck getting so sore that I can't move it later.
Not long after they pressed the button, both Li Xunli's and Shen Rongzhou's phones rang. It was Li Xunjin and Chen Yanfeng calling to ask if the children were awake and if they wanted to go out to find something to eat.
The couple talked about it and then agreed to meet on the first floor of the hotel before hanging up.
With a "smack," Li Xunli slapped Shen Qingqing's buttocks: "Get up, go downstairs and find something to eat."
