Chapter 474 Harvest

So surprised was she stood there stunned for a long time before she came to her senses. Then she was filled with wonder and ignored the changes in her surroundings.

He squatted down, picked up the rabbit, and examined it carefully, but he still couldn't figure out whether the rabbit was stupid or not.

She muttered, "It seems there's some truth to some things; there really are stupid people who die in this world."

He waved the rabbit in his hand. "Look, just like this rabbit, it's so incredibly stupid."

"Now we can eat rabbit meat again." Song Lili smiled happily, her eyes crinkling.

It has meat in it, so it's pretty good.

He stood up, satisfied, and was about to go find Zhang Qinghua when he was interrupted by a rustling sound.

"Could it be something else?" Her eyes lit up as she excitedly looked towards the source of the sound.

"It seems we've had pretty good luck this afternoon, with one discovery after another. That's really great."

She suppressed her breathing and slowly approached, her hands clenching the rabbit she was holding tightly because of her nervousness.

As she drew closer step by step, and the sound grew clearer, she became increasingly excited.

Closer and closer, the sound seemed to be right in front of me.

Suddenly pushing aside the weeds in front, I saw a rather large... no, a... a wild boar.

The wild boar was grunting and sniffing as it slowly approached, when it was startled by Song Lili's sudden action.

"Oh my god!" Song Lili was also startled and cried out in surprise.

She never expected that when she parted the grass, she would see such a huge creature.

She couldn't help but swallow hard. "What... what should I do?"

That wild boar must have weighed at least 100 pounds, and she... was all alone?

She couldn't handle a rabbit by herself, so what could she possibly do against a wild boar?

"Oh my god!"

With another scream, Song Lili turned and ran, using all her strength.

Wild boars... those are dangerous animals! If they catch up with you, you're in big trouble.

It's possible they might get bitten to death.

Since there's no way to subdue them, the best of the thirty-six stratagems is to flee. Let's run away first.

As soon as Song Lili ran, the wild boar immediately gave chase, making her its target.

"Oh my god, why am I having such a bad day?" Song Lili wailed, feeling frightened.

He couldn't help but curse himself inwardly, wondering why he'd been so foolish as to chase after a rabbit. If he hadn't had that sudden urge, none of this would have happened.

After chasing the rabbit for half an hour, she was almost exhausted.

Now, another wild boar has appeared, and a particularly energetic one at that. This time, she's in deep trouble...

Song Lili ran forward with all her might, trying to figure out the direction as she ran towards the place where the three of them had separated.

Once a wild boar sets its sights on a person, it will relentlessly pursue them until the person falls down or disappears.

She had no choice but to take the wild boar and find help.

Ten minutes later, Song Lili was drenched in sweat and panting heavily.

Their physical strength had reached its limit, and there was still a little more to go before they reached the place where they had parted ways.

Grit your teeth and keep telling yourself, just hang in there, just hang in there, you'll get there soon, just grit your teeth and you'll be able to hold on.

And so, she kept encouraging herself, and stumbled along, getting closer and closer.

As for Zhang Qinghua, he quickly shot down the rabbit. On his way back, he encountered another one and chased after it.

Once he had killed both rabbits, he carried them back to where they had parted ways.

Zhang Qingguo was already waiting there.

"Brother, you're back? Look at the rabbit I hunted, it's big and fat, with lots of meat." Zhang Qingguo showed the rabbit he had hunted to Zhang Qinghua.

"They're all pretty good today." Zhang Qinghua nodded; the two he held were quite nice too.

They were all plump and tender wild rabbits, which looked quite heavy, so naturally there was a lot of meat on them.

"Brother, you actually caught two?" Zhang Qingguo exclaimed in surprise when he saw the two wild rabbits in Zhang Qinghua's hand.

"I was lucky; I ran into them on the way and just called them."

Zhang Qinghua showed no excitement about making any decision; he remained calm and indifferent.

"Brother, you really are..." Zhang Qingguo was speechless at Zhang Qinghua's indifferent expression.

Could you please act a little happier? There are two of them, and that's meat.

"Where's your sister-in-law?" Zhang Qinghua put down the rabbit, not seeing Song Lili. "Has she come back?"

"No, I didn't see my sister-in-law. Wasn't she with you chasing rabbits?" Zhang Qingguo asked, confused.

Zhang Qinghua's heart skipped a beat. "You didn't see her?"

Judging by the timeline, Lily should have been back long ago.

He hunted two rabbits, which must have taken him longer than usual. Why hasn't Lili come back yet?

Zhang Qinghua grew anxious. "Qingguo, you wait here. I'm going to find your sister-in-law."

We don't know which direction she chased after; we can only guess.

"Okay, go quickly." Zhang Qingguo now understood that his brother and sister-in-law were not together, and he realized that the situation was serious.

They haven't come back yet, I wonder if something happened to them? I hope nothing's wrong, maybe my sister-in-law just got lost.

Just as Zhang Qinghua was about to go find Song Lili, he heard the sound of someone running and stomping on the ground.

However, perhaps because of the distance, he couldn't hear it very clearly; it was just a faint sound.

Zhang Qinghua didn't care anymore and ran towards the direction the sound came from, hoping it might be Lili.

After running a few steps, I heard someone shouting, "Qinghua, Qingguo, help!"

Song Lili was truly running with all her might, drenched in sweat. If it weren't for the wild boar chasing her, she would have collapsed long ago.

As they got closer and closer to where they had parted, they couldn't hold on any longer and could only shout at the top of their lungs, hoping that the other two would come back.

"Qingguo, help!" Zhang Qinghua's expression changed, and he shouted to the back, speeding up as he ran towards Song Lili.

He recognized the voice; it was Lili's, but it was very weak, and there was fear and apprehension in it.

Did something happen to her?

Zhang Qinghua didn't have time to think much; his only thought was to rush over and get to Song Lili's side.

"Okay, I'm coming." Zhang Qingguo heard his older brother's voice change and quickly ran over, his heart skipping a beat.

Could something have happened to my sister-in-law? Please, no!

The two brothers ran towards Song Lili as fast as they could, and soon they saw her appear in their line of sight, staggering and wobbling.

At this moment, Song Lili looked rather disheveled, her hair was messy, her clothes were disheveled, her face was covered in sweat, and she was panting heavily.
