Xuan Yu was terrified when he saw the red-eyed rats; these were mutated rats that would eat anything. He shouted to Yun Zi, "Yun Zi, run!"
The man and the dog quickly ran towards the cave entrance, while all the mutated rats chased after Xuan Yu and Yun Zi.
Xuan Yu and Yun Zi ran out while looking back, and what they saw was alarming – a large number of Hongya rats were running towards them. They didn't dare to stop and hurried away.
After the man and the dog ran out of the cave, they ran back to where they had just gone, shouting as they ran.
"Sister Yunxi, Brother Fuheng, help! Please save us!"
Yunzi also barked loudly, trying to attract Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng's attention.
Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng were still walking slowly when they suddenly heard Yunzi's barking. Then they faintly heard Xuan Yu's cries for help.
The two exchanged a glance, realizing something was wrong, and quickly ran towards the source of the sound, calling out as they ran, "Yunzi, Xuanyu!"
Xuan Yu heard Ye Yunxi and Fu Heng's voices and spoke loudly to Yun Zi.
"Quick, we need to hurry and inform Sister Yunxi and the others." After saying that, he looked back, and the red-eyed rats were still following them. Looking at them now, the rats were huge, densely packed together. He dared not look any longer and could only run forward as fast as he could.
After running for about two or three minutes, the three people and the dog met. Ye Yunxi wanted to ask Xuan Yu what had happened, but he shouted loudly.
"Run! Mutant rats! There are mutant rats!"
Ye Yunxi was stunned for a moment, then saw a dense swarm of rats following behind Xuan Yu and Yun Zi. They didn't dare to linger for a moment, and the three of them quickly ran down the mountain with Yun Zi.
The mutated rats chased after them relentlessly, showing no sign of stopping, as if they wouldn't stop until they caught them.
As Fu Heng ran, he looked back and then shouted loudly at Ye Yunxi.
"Xixi, get into the space, quick!"
Ye Yunxi made them stand close to her and used her mind to bring them all into her space, thus escaping a disaster.
The mutated rats looked at the group of people and the dog in front of them and vanished instantly. They sniffed around, determined to find them no matter what.
When they couldn't find it, one of the larger rats gave the order and stayed there to guard the spot.
