Chapter 95 Winter is Just Around the Corner

In other words, even though these two brothers are only semi-adult tiger cubs, not even sub-adults yet, their hunting success rate is already twice that of adult tigers.

Of course, the situation of the two brothers cannot be compared with that of ordinary tigers.

But that's the concept.

Two adults and two children skillfully headed towards the hunting grounds, but before they even reached the habitat favored by red deer and sika deer, a group of familiar figures entered the tiger pack's sight.

The tiger mother and the tigress's eyes suddenly lit up.

Under the oak tree, a group of wild boars were happily feeding. They were diligently turning over the fallen leaves and soil, gnawing on acorns, spitting out the bitter and hard skin, and eating the soft and slightly sweet acorns one by one.

The subtle yet noticeable crunching sounds, coupled with a couple of cheerful hums, perfectly complement the background music for a family gathering.

Acorns, a starchy food, are very popular with wild boars. When two wild boars accidentally spot the same acorn and meet head to head, they will grunt and try to fight over it.

Of course, when they first start eating, the wild boars will raise their heads to look around and prick up their ears to listen, alert to any sounds around them. But the abundance of food and the satisfaction of eating gradually diminish their wariness.

The whole family was carefree, enjoying nature's bounty without a care in the world, completely unaware that they too were about to become a delicious meal.

Siberian tigers descended from the sky, and the sisters attacked with unparalleled ferocity.

"Howl—!!!"

A long, terrified howl pierced the sky.

The tiger mother held down the male boar's back, stretched her neck, and bit the boar's spine.

The male wild boar's prized hind shell defense proved ineffective against the tiger mother's sharp claws. The moment the tiger's claws tore through its flesh, the pain stimulated the wild boar, causing it to howl in agony.

The enormous creature struggled desperately, trying to break free from the tiger.

"Howl—"

The male wild boar could still struggle a bit, but the female wild boar, which was pounced on by the tigress, did not have that ability and lost its life almost instantly.

The male wild boar soon followed in the footsteps of the female, and the pair stayed together, which is quite a beautiful story.

Lin Qianhe's attack was also very fierce and decisive. It had already chosen its target - two piglets next to a female wild boar.

As the mother tiger and tigress launched their attack, the two tiger cubs leaped up almost simultaneously.

Taking advantage of its speed, one of the animals pounced on the little wild boar's back in the blink of an eye, then fiercely tore at it, skillfully extending its claws to inflict injury.

Lin Qian and Yong Qi were very skilled at using this three-hit combo in the hunt.

Two slightly childish wails faded away, indicating that the brothers had broken their own success record once again.

The remaining wild boars either turned around or ran away, creating a lively scene.

The surviving female wild boar immediately ran to the hillside, and the quick-reacting baby boars followed closely behind. The slower but lucky baby boars also panicked and followed. They all disappeared into the acorn-strewn forest, escaping to safety in this ever-changing forest.

After the hunt, it's natural to eat on the spot, and even pack up the leftovers after you're full.

None of the four tigers looked at the fleeing wild boars. To them, they were all going to be prey sooner or later; they might escape today, but they couldn't escape tomorrow.

There's no need to worry about the smell of blood attracting other wild animals. There are four tigers here. Even if some mutated spirit beast foolishly rushes up, it will have to think twice about whether it can defeat them.

The fighting prowess of the mother tiger and the tigress goes without saying. Now, with Yongqi and Lin Qian also providing support in battle, the two tiger cubs should not be underestimated either.

After eating and drinking their fill, the remaining female wild boar and two piglets can be packed up.

The tiger mom helped remove the heavy, meatless parts from the baby boar, and then the two brothers took turns transporting it.

The female wild boars were carried by the tiger sisters, and although the journey was slow, they were transported smoothly to the waterhole.

As soon as they got back, Lin Qian and Yongqi lay down. Even though the little wild boars weren't much heavier than them, such a long journey was really tiring.

Upon seeing the tigers return, the chipmunk stood in front of the tree hole, peeking out and crunching on pine nuts. Now, its status as Lin Qian's "toy" to save his life was confirmed. Even the tigress knew that this little guy was deeply loved by her cubs and couldn't be killed.

Wild animals are very sensitive to killing intent, and after getting used to living next to tigers, the chipmunks were pleasantly surprised to find that...

The tiger kings no longer intended to kill it, which moved the chipmunk to tears.

Then its little head turned, and it became a bit erratic.

To be able to live safely in a tiger's den, this mouse must have reached the pinnacle of its mouse life!
