When faced with the doctor's questions, Qin Nian answered truthfully.
"Four months."
The doctor nodded, and the cool coupling gel was applied to the lower abdomen. No one else was allowed in the ultrasound room except for the patients who came in with the doctor.
"Doctor, is there something wrong with my child?"

"I'm watching it. Don't be nervous, it might be a good thing?"
The doctor smiled and spoke to ease Qin Nian's emotions.
Good news? Qin Nian couldn't believe it.
She had been experiencing stomach discomfort yesterday, and the doctor ordered this test again this morning, which made her feel uneasy.
"It's really good news. You're having twins. This is the sixth pair of twins I've seen in the hospital. After so many years of testing, twins are extremely rare. The embryos are developing very well, so don't worry."
