Chapter 1203 Board of Directors Fight

“Mr. Lu, what you’re saying is just a routine meeting. We’ve moved to a new building, so of course there have to be new rules,” Goodley said casually.

"That's right, you're all thinking about replacing them with new people," Lu Feng sneered.

As the call came in, the meeting officially began. John got straight to the point on the phone: "Here's the thing, the group hasn't met its goals for this year. I think the problem lies with the management, and the current management should be adjusted."

"Who should we adjust? First of all, the year isn't over yet, we'll see if we can finish by the end of the year. Secondly, if there's any responsibility, it's my responsibility, what does it have to do with management?" Lu Feng took full responsibility.

“Mr. Lu, you’re no longer involved in management, so this matter has little to do with you,” John said.

Su Yourong said on the phone, "That's right. I think senior management is not just about management, but also about the startup team. This year's goal was originally an impossible goal to achieve. If we measure Jiafeng Group's senior management by global standards, they are qualified."

“Minority shareholders, please stop talking. This is a conference call; too many people talking will make it noisy,” John snapped.

"Who the hell is a minority shareholder? How big are you?" Su Yourong cursed directly.

Lu Feng sat in his seat with a cold expression and his arms crossed. The other executives all understood the purpose of the meeting, while Wei Yandan sat there with an extremely ugly expression.

Su Yourong was cursing on the phone. If it weren't for the voting, she would have hung up long ago. Another phone call connected to Feng Zhiyao was trying to persuade her. It was a chaotic mess.

"Alright, stop arguing. Given that the senior management's performance has fallen short of the group's annual business targets, I propose that Wei Yandan be removed from her position as CEO." Goodley glanced at Lu Feng and said, "She will retain her position as the board representative until a new management representative is appointed."

John, not bothering to argue with Su Yourong, said directly on the phone, "I agree!"

"I disagree!"

"I disagree!"

I agree!

John was not satisfied with the vote, as the vote on this matter only received 40 percent. Goodley said from the side, "President Lu, this is the board of directors, not your personal dictatorship. Instigating conflict with some minority shareholders is very detrimental to the group's development."

"Go to hell!" Lu Feng stood up and slapped him across the face.

Goodley was slapped so hard he fell to the ground, and the chaos on the other end of the phone left the person on the other end somewhat bewildered.

Goodley felt half his face go numb before he finally snapped out of it and yelled, "Lu Feng hit me!!!"

"I hit him, so what?" Lu Feng pushed his chair back and sat down.

Seeing that the board of directors was not going to approve it, John told Goodley to call the police over the phone. Of course, Goodley knew that calling the police would be of no use to Lu Feng.

He had his own methods. He got up from the floor, ran out of the conference room, and called for people outside. Soon enough, six or seven middle managers rushed in.

"Beat them!!" Goodley ordered.

Several middle managers were somewhat intimidated by Lu Feng sitting there. If he really took action, they would lose their jobs completely. Seeing their hesitation, Goodley shouted, "What are you afraid of? I'll cover for you. Who dares to fire you?"

Some of them were out of their minds and rushed forward, with others following suit. Goodley ran straight towards Lu Feng. In the past year, Goodley had come to realize that if he wanted to compete with Lu Feng, he needed to know some Chinese Kung Fu.

Wei Yandan, the female employee in charge of translating and recording the board meeting, had never seen such a scene before. She screamed and ran outside. When Lu Feng saw Goodley rushing over, he stood up, grabbed the chair he was sitting on, and smashed it over his head.

Du Guoying jumped onto the table and kicked down from his high position. Liu Cheng, Zhu Lidong, and the others also fought two against one, and a brawl broke out on the spot, with no dignity whatsoever.

Seeing that the situation was not good, Wei Yandan immediately ran out to find security.

It took more than ten minutes for security guards to arrive and separate the two groups. The newly moved departments were all blocking the stairs of the management office and looking out. This was absolutely the most unbelievable thing in the business world: the company secretary and the management team were fighting with the founder and the senior executives.

Lu Feng had a bruise on his face. Gudley's height of nearly 1.9 meters was something Lu Feng couldn't compete with, but Gudley didn't gain the upper hand either. He was kneeling on the ground with his hands covering his groin and a pained expression on his face.
