Since the update to level 4 islands, aside from manually planting new crops once, I've mostly been harvesting and planting through the light screen.
Wheat seeds mature in just 24 hours on his raft, but on the island they would mature in 25 hours.
Lin Hu took the seeds and planted them on the remaining land. He planned to reduce the wheat planting area later when new crops were available.
After harvesting the remaining mature crops, Lin Hu turned off the light screen and prepared to go to sleep.
He was still thinking about how to earn crystal cores before going to sleep. He was running out of land on his island, and he needed 50 new crops and 50 new animals to upgrade to level 5 next time.
He's not worried about the animals; they can just be kept on the mountain. But new crops need to be planted on cleared land. He currently has several dozen acres of uncultivated land.
But when it came to buying that modern machine for reclaiming land, he thought about the crystal cores he had on hand, and then about the crystal cores he owed Duan Linzhou, and decided it was best to go to sleep.
When I'm asleep, I can dream about anything.
"Can't you sleep?" Duan Linzhou asked softly, standing beside Lin Hu's bed.
"Not really sleepy yet." Lin Hu yawned as soon as he finished speaking, then suddenly felt a little embarrassed. His body was sleepy, but his mind was not.
Duan Linzhou was amused and reached out to pat the other person's head.
"Don't think about it anymore, get some rest." Duan Linzhou said as he got into bed and sat down on the other side.
Perhaps Duan Linzhou's words had some kind of magic, because Lin Hu actually fell asleep in no time.
After Lin Hu fell asleep, Duan Linzhou got up and went for a walk around the area. When it was almost time, he returned to relieve Wen Bozhi.
Wen Bozhi was a light sleeper, and Duan Linzhou woke him up after calling him twice.
"Is there something wrong?" Wen Bozhi asked Duan Linzhou after waking up, taking out his glasses from his backpack and putting them on.
"Everything is normal. I'll leave the rest of the night to you." Duan Linzhou said as he walked towards the bed by the lake.
Wen Bozhi watched as the other person skillfully slipped into Lin Hu's blankets, even tucking them in properly. Finally, they snuggled together to sleep, practically embracing.
It was so practiced, it didn't seem like the first time.
"You two used to sleep together?" Wen Bozhi asked softly as he approached.
"Hmm. What's wrong?" Duan Linzhou asked, puzzled.
"……fine."
Although Wen Bozhi had long suspected that his brother might have feelings for someone without realizing it, he still couldn't discern Lin Hu's attitude after spending time together today. He didn't dare to point out Duan Linzhou's thoughts, fearing it might cause the other to overthink and affect tomorrow's plans, so he decided to wait until they returned to the raft.
