Gu Li pulled back slightly to free himself from Jiang Xu's hand, then looked down at the hand that the other hadn't retracted. He paused for a moment, then looked up at Jiang Xu with a bright smile before opening his mouth.
Jiang Xu looked at Gu Li, whose movements were very quick. By the time he realized what Gu Li meant, it was too late to withdraw his hand, so he immediately changed the direction of his hand.
They moved quickly, and eventually reached a stalemate.

He thought about how the other person was chatting easily with others and then sitting there playing games nonchalantly, and he became more and more convinced that the other person must be afraid of withdrawing from the competition!

Jiang Xu said, "Next time, we really should have Manager Zhang do a screening. We shouldn't let just anyone in."

Jiang Xu, "Just because you don't know doesn't mean I'm not?" He smiled. "Then if I don't know you're human, you're not human?" His voice was very gentle, and no one would expect him to say such a thing.
Gu Li, propping her head up and looking out the window, heard this and her shoulders visibly trembled. A low, suppressed laugh escaped her lips.
Zhang He's face flushed red. Hu Bingbing patted her shoulder and said, "Don't be angry. Jiang Xu is just a little upset that you questioned him." She then looked at Jiang Xu and said, "It's really impressive that you became a campus partner. It seems we all need to learn from you."
Jiang Xu spoke calmly, "Do you know that there's a very important trait?"
Hu Bingbing was pleased to see him initiate a conversation. "What is it?"
Jiang Xu calmly uttered two words, "Quiet."
Hu Bingbing's smile froze; she felt she must have misheard.
Zhao Rangwen walked over at that moment and sat in the front row. He turned around and saw Gu Li, who was still looking out the window.
He was a little unsure how to address Gu Li, and felt it wouldn't be wise to bother her at this moment, so he decided to start with Jiang Xu. He looked at Jiang Xu and said, "Did you withdraw from the competition? You really didn't dare to participate, did you?"
Jiang Xu nodded casually, "Yeah, are you also thinking of withdrawing from the competition? I'll help you."
Zhao Rangwen said, "I'm different from you. I'm here to be number one."

Gu Li turned and smiled, "What medals? I want to watch a horror movie." He thought for a moment and then asked, "Can we leave now?"
