Chapter 177 Huddling Together for Warmth

Gu Li's hand moved lower, stopping at a delicate boundary, drawing circles on the protruding bone on the side of her leg.

Jiang Xu first felt itchy, then felt a lack, not even reaching the final step, not enough, not nearly enough.

He suddenly grabbed Gu Li's wrist. Gu Li let out a soft laugh, rested her head on Jiang Xu's shoulder, and laughed in a muffled tone, while the circles she drew with her hand grew larger and larger.

Jiang Xu's emotions grew increasingly somber, his dark pupils contracted slightly, and he looked down at the fair neck in front of him, exposed without any defense, trembling slightly because of its owner's laughter.

Jiang Xu thought the tremor should be even greater.

The moment he lowered his head, desire filled his eyes.

Gu Li froze, the sensation of someone biting his neck becoming clear. His soft flesh was being gripped by teeth, and that familiar sense of threat rose within him. He couldn't retreat; Jiang Xu, like a hunter, had already blocked his escape route.

He could only feel a slight stinging pain. He felt as if the tiger's tooth had sunk into his skin. The sensation was so clear that it made Gu Li's scalp tingle uncontrollably, and a tingling sensation shot up from his tailbone.

Jiang Xu looked at the obvious teeth marks and the small area of reddened skin. His eyes lit up for a moment, then dimmed again. Desire surged up once more, and he gently licked that patch of skin.

Gu Li felt the hand behind her tighten even more, "...Jiang Xu".

Jiang Xu moved his ear behind the person's ear and asked, "What's wrong?" His gentle and tender voice was irresistible.

Gu Li hugged Jiang Xu tightly and whispered in his ear, "I'm not going to be the one below you." His voice was as light as a breath.

Jiang Xu felt as if a feather had landed on his ear, and he said calmly, "Coincidentally, me too."

The two were very close together, and even after saying that, they didn't separate at all. They pressed against each other, the heat spreading, and the impulse continued.

Gu Li smiled and said, "What should we do then?" She moved her hand even closer.

Jiang Xu bit down on Gu Li's earlobe, gently tearing at it before speaking, "Of course, we should let nature take its course." His voice was breathless.

Gu Li thought to herself, lost in thought, "This is really exciting."

Jiang Xu showed Gu Li through his actions that things could get even more exciting.

The night outside the window mixed with the warm light inside the room, and suddenly the light flickered. The curtains swayed slightly, and the air in the room circulated a little, but then became increasingly stagnant.

My mind went blank for a moment, then exploded like fireworks, a flash of white light.

Everything was like the churning of ocean waves, and in an instant, the spray from the sea surged onto the shore, splashing down in tiny droplets.

The sea then returned to calm, leaving an exceptionally long aftertaste.

Jiang Xu thought that Gu Li was indeed panting on his shoulder now, and the breaths hitting his neck were a touching warmth.

The darkness of night rolled in, and everything was quiet amidst the noise.

After Jiang Xu finished tidying up, he looked at Gu Li lying on the sofa next to the bed. Gu Li had one leg on the sofa armrest and the other leg bent as she wiped her hands with a tissue.

The white tissue paper soaked with transparent water droplets on his hands, contrasting with Gu Li's fair knuckles.

Gu Li's movements were slow and deliberate, which inexplicably gave off a different meaning. When he saw Jiang Xu come out, he turned his head to look at him. The redness on his face had not yet faded, which contrasted with his messy red hair. Jiang Xu thought that his lazy appearance was particularly handsome.

Gu Li smiled, his lips now a perfectly applied shade of red, a color that Jiang Xu had transferred to them. "Want to wipe your hands?" He beckoned Jiang Xu over.

Jiang Xu looked down at his wet hands and slowly walked towards Gu Li. Gu Li reached out and pulled out a tissue. Just as Jiang Xu was about to take it, Gu Li's hand twitched away. "Isn't this for me?"

Gu Li slightly rose and grasped Jiang Xu's wrist as he was about to pull away. "It's for you," he said, his grip light. "Come, sit down."

Jiang Xu sat down next to Gu Li. "What does this mean?"

"Young people are too hasty," Gu Li teased with a smile, then handed the paper to Jiang Xu, carefully wiping his hands and taking good care of each joint. "Isn't it good for me to help you?"

Jiang Xu looked at Gu Li, who was bowing slightly to wipe his hands. The person in front of him had long eyelashes that fluttered with her breath, like a butterfly gently spreading its wings. "It's good." I can finally take a good look at you.

Gu Li put down the tissue and touched Jiang Xu's palm with her fingertip. Jiang Xu didn't understand what Gu Li meant. "What's this?"

"Just checking if it's dry, nothing more," Gu Li said with a look that said, 'I'm completely innocent, what are you thinking?' He winked at Jiang Xu while his fingertips playfully scratched Jiang Xu's palm before quickly pulling away. "Hmm, it's completely dry."

Jiang Xu's palm still lingered on that slight itch, like a cat's claws gently blooming in his hand. "You really are..." He chuckled for a moment, then pressed Gu Li's head and gave him a hard kiss on the forehead. "You're so lovable."

Because of the force, Gu Li's head tilted back slightly, and he braced his hands on the sofa. "How much do you like it?"

Looking at the person in front of him, Jiang Xu felt that Gu Li was like a mermaid bewitching a sailor today, with deep meaning in every corner of her eyes and brows. He thought carefully before speaking, "I like her more every day than the day before, and, well, more than you."

He wasn't a sailor; he was a captain who captured mermaids. Imprisonment and monopolization were both his prerogative.

Gu Li tilted his head, raised an eyebrow, and denied without hesitation, "No," he looked sharply at Jiang Xu, "It's not clear who likes him more, I can only see that you are mine, Jiang Xu."

Perhaps, mutual manipulation is the more correct approach.

Jiang Xu glanced out the window for a moment before returning to Gu Li. He nodded indulgently and said, "Of course, it has been for a long time, hasn't it? And now it's really time to rest. Let's go to my room."

The sheets and blankets in Gu Li's room were dirty, and neither of them liked to make do, so they tidied up a bit and then went to another room together.

As soon as Gu Li entered the room, she pounced on the bed. The smell was different now. The other room was filled with an ambiguous scent, while this room was filled with Jiang Xu's scent. The light fragrance lingered around Gu Li's nose, calming her mind and making her feel sleepy.

He unceremoniously slipped into bed, then pulled back the covers beside him and patted the bed next to him as Jiang Xu, who was walking over after closing the door, said, "Come warm up the bed."

Jiang Xu walked to the bedside naturally. "Shouldn't you have called me after you've warmed it up?"

Gu Li said, "We don't have enough time right now. I'll call you next time when I'm warmed up." He made a promise, his expression very sincere. "Let's just stick together and keep warm this time."

Jiang Xu lay down on the bed and pulled the covers up. "Chuddling together for warmth, huh?" He turned his head to look at Gu Li. "How do you mean huddling?"
