Xiang Zhilan stared straight at him. After he stopped walking, he suddenly turned around and walked back to Bai Yutong's side after about two or three seconds.
Ni Sitian was stunned. Shouldn't Shen Muzhi be rushing over to explain to Xiang Zhilan? Why is he leaving with Bai Yutong?
Xiang Zhilan's expression turned even more unpleasant as she watched Shen Muzhi pull Bai Yutong's wrist and walk outside.
Carrying the bag, she strode towards them, chased after them outside, and shouted at his retreating figure, "Shen Muzhi, you stop right there!"
He acted as if he hadn't heard a word and continued to pull Bai Yutong along.
Ni Sitian chased after him outside, only to see Xiang Zhilan take a boot out of a shoebox and throw it at Shen Muzhi's back, shouting, "Shen Muzhi! You stop right there!"
The boot slammed into Shen Muzhi's back with a thud, and Shen Muzhi stopped.
Xiang Zhilan strode towards him, stopping in front of him and Bai Yutong. She glanced down at his wrist holding Bai Yutong's, frowned, and demanded, "Explain yourself! What exactly happened?!"
Shen Muzhi's dark eyes seemed shrouded in mist, making them unfathomable. He narrowed his eyes slightly, his voice as cold as the wind today: "Since you've already seen it, I have nothing to explain."
"What does this mean?" Xiang Zhilan felt a chill run from the soles of her feet to her heart.
"If I'm too explicit, it won't look good on anyone." Shen Muzhi's face was frosty, a complete contrast to yesterday.
Xiang Zhilan laughed in anger, staring at Shen Muzhi's face. "So now you're going to say what I said before, that we have no relationship? Or are you going to say that everything you told me the day before yesterday was a lie?"
“Yes, we have nothing to do with each other.” Shen Muzhi bent down to pick up Xiang Zhilan’s pair of ankle boots and handed them to her. As he did so, he leaned close to her ear and, unlike the intimacy in the car yesterday, said something cruel: “Let me remind you, don’t believe too much what a man says when he sleeps with you.”
Xiang Zhilan gripped the tassels on her boots tightly, her face turning pale, with only the tip of her nose slightly red from the cold. Her eyes flickered as she questioned him, "Then what about all the things you did after I returned to China?"
"A little something to pass the time when I'm bored." Shen Muzhi tugged at the corner of his mouth, raising an eyebrow slightly. "After all, our bodies are very compatible, aren't they?"
Xiang Zhilan's knuckles turned white as she gripped the tassel, and she trembled slightly. She made a move that surprised everyone: she tapped Shen Muzhi's head with her high-heeled ankle boot.
Everyone was stunned, and the boots fell to the ground.
There were many people outside the mall, coming and going. Some people had already taken out their phones to record videos, as if they were looking forward to something more exciting.
However, Xiang Zhilan didn't give them a chance, coldly telling Shen Muzhi, "You can forget about me forgiving you for the rest of your life!"
After she finished speaking, she turned and left.
"Miss Xiang..." Bai Yutong was about to chase after Xiang Zhilan to explain.
Shen Muzhi stretched out his arm to block her way, and Bai Yutong said urgently, "What are you doing? I'll go explain to her."
"There's nothing to explain." Shen Muzhi's facial bones twitched slightly, as if he was trying his best to suppress something.
Ni Sitian looked at Bai Yutong and twitched her lips: "There's really nothing to explain. If you really wanted to explain, you wouldn't be here watching all this."
Bai Yutong's face turned red and green from what she said, and she had to admit that she had indeed had some wicked thoughts just now.
He's about to buy a ring and remarry Xiang Zhilan, how could she not feel resentful?
