Riki Ninomiya seemed lost in thought. "...Yuki-dō?"
"Tsunomiya!" The man suddenly stood up and hugged her.
"Meow!!"
When Su Deng and Taozi returned to the back mountain, they saw, amidst the eerie weather of heavy snow, Ci Gong Li Xi and a man embracing under the maple tree that remained red all year round.
The tiny Acha tore at the man's trouser leg, trying to pull him away, but she couldn't budge him at all.
"She...she...she..." Momoko's eyes widened at the sight. "Riki Tsunomiya is having a secret rendezvous with a man, she...she..."
Su Deng frowned.
Ignoring the eerie atmosphere of the heavy snow, Momoko's eyes shone with an astonishing light. "Riki Tsunomiya is finished!!!"
Su Deng turned her head to look at her, "What do you mean?"
"Didn't I tell you? The candidate for shrine maiden must be unmarried, pure, a virgin, and must not have any connection with any man!!" Momoko said quickly.
"I thought Riki Tsunomiya was a sheltered young lady, but I never expected her to be so bold. Hugging and cuddling with a man is one thing, but doing it here! If the priestess and the shrine maiden find out, she's finished!"
This is treason against the gods!!
Su Deng frowned even more deeply. "She hasn't even become a priestess yet, so how can she be considered to have betrayed the gods?"
"From the moment we enter the Witch Water Garden and become candidates for witches, we must all maintain our purity and dedicate our lives to serving the gods!"
Momoko said, "Riki Tsunomiya is basically a done deal as a priestess. Isn't she betraying the gods by doing this?"
"I never would have guessed! The usually pure, holy, and aloof Lady Tsunomiya would actually be having a secret rendezvous with a man!"
Peach took off running into the courtyard, shouting, "I'm going to tell Quan Gongsi!"
"Peach!" Su Deng instinctively grabbed her!
