While the two were talking, Gu Yanbai stripped down to his underwear.
"If she comes again in the future, just ignore her."
Su Nianxue simply said "oh," completely at a loss for words.
Just as she was about to turn over and go to sleep, Gu Yanbai rubbed against her forcefully.
"What are you doing? Why are you squeezing in? Aren't you hot?"
She moved further into the bed, and the man followed suit, moving a little further in. "What are you saying I'm doing?"
I've been away for days, don't you miss me?
"You haven't showered, you stink." He reeked of cigarettes and alcohol, which wafted into her nostrils.
Su Nianxue pinched her nose and moved further inside, looking disgusted.
"Why wash? It's the same if you wash after you're done." He didn't think he was doing anything wrong; what man doesn't do that?
"Go take a shower!" she said, each word distinct, her eyes filled with unwavering determination.
"You won't let me touch you if I don't shower?"
"Yes, don't get into my bed if you're not going to shower."
"It stinks! It's made my bed smell bad!" Su Nianxue said with a look of resistance.
Gu Yanbai: "You're such a busybody. Go ask around the whole village and see if any man is like me."
They have to be washed until they're spotless before they can go to bed with you.
"Did I marry a wife, or did I marry an ancestor?"
"If you don't want to wash, then go sleep somewhere else."
"I'm not going!" Gu Yanbai said as he slipped under the covers.
Su Nianxue didn't want to argue with him, so she picked up her pillow, threw off the covers, and prepared to leave.
Gu Yanbai grabbed her wrist. "Where are you going?"
“I’m going to sleep with Yanliu; out of sight, out of mind.”
You can turn the bed into a pigsty, I won't care.
