The aunties looked on with sudden realization, their words seemingly meant to comfort, but actually mocking.
"Orchid, you know, you're already so old, why are you still so competitive?"
"Last time you made fun of Yanliu and her sister-in-law, which caused Grandpa Gu to go looking for them. Why didn't you learn your lesson?"
"You two really need to change your personalities. People usually tolerate you a bit because we're from the same village."
But the people in that town won't put up with you.
While the others were talking, Su Nianxue and Gu Yanliu had already approached each other.

Having grown accustomed to her cold demeanor, Gou Dan was somewhat incredulous at her sudden enthusiasm. "For me?"
"Of course, take it." Su Nianxue stuffed the peanut candy directly into his arms.
