Lin Ying listed out all the group tasks she could do, and wrote down all the methods she knew. In one afternoon, she wrote nine plans for ten teams.
After finishing writing, Lin Ying put the document in a file folder and placed it in her space.
The next morning, as soon as Lin Ying got up, she found that the two little ones were sleeping by her chimney again.
Lin Ying patted the two heads: "Are you worried?"
Lin Yingxin was deeply moved as she watched the two little ones rubbing against her palms.
"It's a bit cold in here, don't sleep here anymore." Lin Ying also made a "dog hole" at the back door of her house. Then she told them to come in through this hole from now on.
Afterwards, Lin Ying made a large nest for them next to the stove, lined with straw mats: "You will sleep here from now on."
Although Lin Ying had never wanted to raise tigers, saying she would never let them stay overnight in her house if possible, these two cubs were ones she had watched grow up. Now, even though they weren't grown up yet, they wanted to learn how to protect her. How could she not be moved?
If they really do want to stay with her in the future, she can simply keep them in her spatial dimension. When she has the opportunity and can afford a house, she'll buy one in the mountains and raise them there.
After writing the proposal yesterday, Lin Ying took out paper again today to draw design drawings.
Lin Ying plans to build herself a means of transportation, since she will also be commuting to and from get off work from now on. She only works the morning shift, and she can't expect the logistics department to wait for her.
She needs her own means of transportation.
She couldn't afford a car, but she could buy a bicycle if she wanted to. However, she didn't think she could ride a bicycle on the ice as if it were flat ground.
Therefore, the best solution is to make a four-wheeled vehicle.
It's only because there are no regulations prohibiting bicycles from being on the road now that Lin Ying wouldn't dare to think this way.
Lin Ying plans to build a bicycle, similar to a rowing boat in a park.
Lin Ying first drew a rough framework, ensuring the four wheels were sturdy enough to bear the weight and adapt to icy and snowy roads. She then gathered some scrap wood and metal parts and began building the vehicle body according to the design.
After several days of effort, the basic framework was completed. It was still constructed using wooden gears, incorporating the principles of a waterwheel to drive the rotation of the vehicle's four wheels.
Lin Ying also meticulously crafted a foot pedal mechanism, similar to those on a park boat, allowing for alternating forward and backward pressure. She also found a sturdy wooden board to serve as a seat and installed a simple braking system.
After the steering wheel was installed, Lin Ying did a simple test.
After confirming that there were no problems with the road conditions, she began to build the carriages and seats.
For safety, Lin Ying even removed the only three panes of glass in her house—the windows in front of the road and on both sides. She even replaced three rearview mirrors with her own.
Since the car behind her had no windows, Lin Ying found a plastic sheet.
She's really limited in resources right now, but once she's able to get out, she'll definitely upgrade this thing.
After the vehicle was finished, Lin Ying took the two children out for the experiment. Lin Ying only sat in one seat in the entire vehicle. There was a cargo bed in the back, which was lined with things, so Er Ya and Shuanzi would definitely have no problem sitting inside.
After that, she rode this rickshaw around the residential compound to conduct experiments.
This is the largest thing Lin Ying made besides the table saw.
When she rode this bike out, it naturally attracted a lot of attention.
Seeing others asking curiously, Lin Ying stopped and said a few words to them. To walk on the snow, Lin Ying had made thicker, more durable shoes. To be honest, it was a bit strenuous to push off, but she was strong, so it wasn't a big problem.
However, Lin Ying already had plans to improve this thing.
She had already drawn up the blueprints, and was just waiting for her to be released and give them up so she could go to the Second Factory and have them help her make them.
Lin Ying never expected that Er Ya, this little rascal, would now love swimming and riding in cars the most.
Ever since Lin Ying took her into the bathtub last time, this little one has been dissatisfied with the washbasin. Every time you put her in the washbasin for a bath, she curls up her legs and refuses to get in.
Then, quite nimbly, it grabbed your arm and climbed up.
Lin Ying was both amused and exasperated by what she saw.
Later, thinking that Shuanzi was already quite big in the big pool by himself, he simply put the little guy in as well.
Although this was very tiring for Lin Ying, because she had to hold on to the little one the whole time and couldn't let go.
