Chapter 465 Song Jingyi's IF Route (Part 5)

Chapter 465 Song Jingyi's IF Route (Part 5)

With the thoughts and memories of his past life, Song Jingyi was able to accomplish things more smoothly.

He also didn't miss any important moments in his sister's life.

He and his grandmother took her to kindergarten on her first day.

On her first day of kindergarten, he bought ice cream and cotton candy and waited for her at the door.

On her first day of elementary school, he held her hand and led her to the classroom.

Before she knew it, Song Tingyu turned eight and was in the second grade of elementary school.

Song Jingyi received a call from Song Shuchen, who said that his younger sister had died and asked him to go back and keep Meng Qingzhi company.

He hung up the phone and flew directly to Suzhou to see his younger sister and maternal grandmother.

They came without telling us, thinking they'd give the kids a surprise.

To his surprise, he found his well-behaved and sensible younger sister standing in the middle of the living room, with her head down.

Grandma sat in the chair with a sullen face.

It looks like they just finished training.

Song Jingyi raised an eyebrow and quickly walked over.

"What's wrong?"

"Brother!" Song Tingyu turned around in surprise, her eyes shining brightly. "You're back!"

"You're back. Why are you standing?" Song Jingyi patted her head. "Have you eaten? Are you hungry?"

Qiu Wanyin frowned. Oh well, she couldn't get the discipline done again.

Song Tingyu pouted, as if tears were about to fall, "Hungry, I haven't eaten."

"Grandma?" Song Jingyi looked over.

Qiu Wanyin sighed, "Ask her what she did at school?"

“Xiaoyu has always been very well-behaved. What can she do? It doesn’t matter if her grades are a little bad. I can support her.”

“Jingyi, you can’t teach your sister like that, you’ll spoil her.” Qiu Wanyin said earnestly, “She’s a girl, she can’t always rely on others, she has to become successful on her own.”

Song Jingyi didn't want to talk about these things with his grandmother, since he had his own plans anyway. "Xiaoyu, what happened?"

Song Tingyu grumbled, "My deskmate said something about me, I was upset, and then..."

Song Jingyi pressed on with great interest, "And then what happened?"

"Then I dragged him to the playground for a duel. I kicked him with my knee, and he got a heart kick. Who knew he was such a sore loser? He just lay on the ground and cried."

As Song Tingyu watched her grandmother's face grow increasingly dark, her voice gradually softened, and her raised head lowered again.

“Well done,” Song Jingyi said. “It’s embarrassing for him to cry. Grandma shouldn’t have scolded you.” Song Tingyu nodded quietly.

"You—" Qiu Wanyin was furious. How could someone like this possibly teach a child well?

The nanny came over and said that the parents of the child who was beaten had brought the child to cause trouble.

Song Jingyi snorted coldly, "You've come at just the right time."

"Jingyi! Go inside, and don't come out unless I call you!" Qiu Wanyin declared, adopting her grandmother's imposing manner. "No matter what, it's wrong for her to hit someone."

Song Jingyi did not move.

Just then, a small hand tugged at his sleeve and shook it gently. "Brother, don't upset Grandma. Go inside, it's alright."

"Don't be afraid, your brother's here. We'll beat up his parents too." Song Jingyi left these words behind and slowly walked behind the screen in the living room.

"Grandma Chenchen, hello there! Please sit down, please sit down. Listen to me, go get some snacks for your classmates." Qiu Wanyin greeted her with a big smile.

The old lady opposite her wasn't having any of it. "We don't eat snacks. Who needs something from you? Make your child apologize to my child!"

"Sit down and talk first, don't be angry, the children are still young."

"Small? You may be small, but you're incredibly strong! Look what you did to our child! His chest is all black! Let me tell you! If anything happens to my grandson, I'll make you pay with your lives! Apologize to our child now! Then take us to the hospital for a checkup!"

The old lady was relentless in her pursuit of the truth, and her momentum grew even stronger.

Qiu Wanyin coaxed gently, "Tingyu, come over and apologize to your classmate."

The old lady stood with her grandson, their faces tilted upwards.

Song listened without moving.

"Listen to my words!" Qiu Wanyin called out again.

"I did nothing wrong, I won't apologize! He just deserves a beating!" Song Tingyu turned her head, her fists clenched tightly, her eyes showing stubbornness.

"You silly child," Qiu Wanyin frowned, "come here."

"Look at you, look at you! You beat our child up like this, and you still say you did nothing wrong? Are little girls this tough these days? Huh?! Let me tell you, you absolutely have to apologize today! My son works for the Education Bureau. If you don't apologize, I'm not letting this go, I'll make sure you can't go to school!"

"I did nothing wrong!" Song Tingyu rushed forward, blocking her grandmother's path, her eyes red as she stared at the silent chubby boy opposite her. "He said those things to me first! He called me a wild child without parents, a bastard! I'm going to beat him to death!"

Qiu Wanyin paused, a wave of sorrow washing over her.

The child wouldn't say why he died earlier; it turns out it was because of this.

It's all her fault; she wronged the child.

"But you can't hit him! You should scold him too!" The old lady still had that unreasonable look on her face.

She had already inquired about it. This family was rich only because their daughter married well, but the daughter never came home. So, the family consisted of just the old woman and the child, who had no power, influence, or money and were not worth offending.

“You can apologize to your child, but first your child should apologize to our child.” Qiu Wanyin pulled her granddaughter over and shielded her behind her, looking at them with a serious expression.

"Why should I?!" The old woman waved her hand. "Our child didn't say anything wrong! They're orphans! Aren't they the children your relatives didn't want? And you're just protecting them like this?"

"You're talking nonsense! I'm not a relative, I'm my maternal grandmother's granddaughter!" Song Tingyu shouted.

"Oh, dream on. You're someone who's been abandoned and nobody wants. They'd sell you for two lollipops. And you're still fantasizing about being a rich girl?"

The old lady's words became increasingly harsh.

She channeled all her jealousy about the beautiful house onto the little girl in front of her.

Everyone knows that no one wants her.

"Who's barking like a dog?" Song Jingyi asked slowly as he approached, his face grim.

The old lady was startled, not expecting anyone else to be there.

At first glance, he looked like a young man, so she didn't take him seriously.

But when she met Song Jingyi's bloodthirsty gaze, her calf still twitched.

"Who are you? What business is it of yours? Our child was beaten, can't I even get an explanation?"

Song Jingyi smirked, his indifferent gaze falling on the chubby boy. "Whoever beat him up should be held accountable. That's perfectly reasonable."

The old lady snorted, "Just a little brat."

The next second, her scream pierced the entire living room.

Song Jingyi raised his leg and kicked the chubby boy in the stomach.

The chubby boy, weighing several dozen kilograms, slid smoothly several meters away.

"Ah! My grandson!" The old lady ran over and picked up her grandson, who was crying even louder. "What are you doing! How could you hit someone! I'm telling you, my son is coming right now, and I'll make you pay! My son works for the Education Bureau! I'll make sure you don't go to school!"

Song Jingyi walked past slowly.

With each step he took, the old lady's heart trembled.
