Ava let out a curse when she felt her body hit a hard surface.
Her head hurt. No. Her whole body felt like it was burning from the inside.
"Ugh," she held her head before she started puking.
"What the hell?"
Her eyes snapped shut. Not from the pain but because of the blinding light that assaulted her senses.
No one told her this place is going to be very bright!
"New blood!"

Ava slowly opened her eyes when she heard the continuous chanting. Then her eyes widened.
This...
She’s currently inside a large coliseum-like structure. Worse she was in the middle of the large fighting arena.
"Kill!"
"Kill!"
"Kill!"
"Kill!"
The chanting continued.
Sadly, Ava had no chance to observe her current surroundings. The killing intent coming from behind her was enough to attract her focus. Without turning around, Ava started running.
It was her instinct.
Whatever was running behind her triggered her flight or fight instinct. And this time, she chose to run. She had no idea who or what her enemy was. It is better to—
**GROWL**
Great, Ava thought. It wasn’t even human.
"Kill!"
"Kill!"
As the chanting continued, Ava started to get a hold of the current situation she was in. The smell of blood and cigarette was thick in the air. Accompanying it was the smell of sweat and something rotten.
The Arena.
This was the arena that they were talking about.
Without thinking, Ava waved her hand and created a wall of soil.
"A witch!"
"She’s a witch!"
"Kill the witch!"
Someone from the audience shouted.
"Kill the witch!"
"Kill the witch!"
"Kill the witch!"
Ava frowned.
What the hell?
Soon, Ava realized that there were other bodies in this large place. Or at least what was left of them. They were scattered inside a circular space that was about two hundred meters wide.
Shit, she hissed inwardly.
These people must be the newbies. They appeared here and now, and people are betting if they would survive this place!
Ava kicked the ground and used her magick to catapult herself up. Then she used a levitation magick as she floated a few meters from the ground.
She turned and looked at the dog-like creature that was running after her.
On the outside, it looked like a dog, except it had three heads, a tail covered in spikes and it was fucking running using its hind legs!
"What the hell is that?"
The dog was about eight feet tall. It lifted its head and showed its fangs, green saliva flowed out of its large mouth.
However, Ava knew that she needed to get out of this situation quickly. So, a large fireball appeared in her hands. She used her magick to create a fireball that was almost half her size. And threw it towards the dog.
She just couldn’t afford to waste any more time.
"Kill that bxtch!"
"Kill her!"
"Kill her!"
"Kill her!"
Ava looked around. The chanting didn’t stop. However, she could also hear a faint "Kill the beast!" chant from the audience.
**BOOM**
The loud explosion from her fireball echoed as it hit the large beast. But instead of falling to the ground, the beast let out an ear-piercing howl that shook the whole coliseum.
"Huh?" Ava lifted an eyebrow when she noticed the red smoke rising from the beast’s body. Before Ava could blink, the beast suddenly vanished from where it was at. Ava’s heart dropped.
She quickly teleported herself a few meters away.
Just as she disappeared the beast appeared from where she was standing just a couple of seconds ago.
It brandished its claws from the now vacant space.
The beast teleported?
Ava frowned when she met the beast’s eyes.
No. It wasn’t teleportation.
That animal was just too fast!
Without having second thoughts she vanished and appeared a couple of meters away. Again, the beast followed her, appearing and disappearing.
What kind of beast is this? Ava couldn’t help but panic inside. She had never seen one like this before. Moreover, her magick ability is slowly exhausting her physical body.
She can’t teleport all the time!
But the fire that she used earlier should have been enough to kill a monster this big!
Ava gritted her teeth.
She had no other choice but to use something that she just learned from the Shaman’s grimoire. Though using that spell is forbidden on Earth, this is no Earth!
And she... she had to survive!
Ava gritted her teeth as she thought about the spell.
"Tasabus Taouacane Yevmion Inulum"
She chanted as she started moving away from the beast. She couldn’t actually see it but she managed to avoid its attack from time to time simply because of her instinct.
She forcefully calmed her breathing down and thought about the blood that flowed inside the beast’s veins. Then she closed her eyes and stretch both of her arms upwards.
"Tasabus Taouacane Yevmion Inulum."
"Die you fxcking beast!"
**GRRRRR**
Just as she expected, the beast stopped moving. It appeared inches away from where she was standing. Its confused eyes looked at Ava. Then slowly green blood started streaming out of his nose and eyes. Then from its ears.
Seeing this, Ava sighed and floated away from the monster. Of course, she didn’t turn her back on it. She wasn’t that stupid.
Just as she reached a safe distance, she clapped her hands and watched as the monster’s body exploded into smithereens.
A loud silence filled the area after the explosion.
Ava could feel everyone’s eyes on her. But she had no time to even care about it. She was too exhausted, it felt like her arms and feet are starting to shake.
Damnit. She thought inwardly.
Unable to ignore the exhaustion, she sat on the ground and stared at the flesh of the beast that was now scattered around the arena.
"Fuck," Ava mumbled. Then she lift her head and stared at the tall ceiling of the coliseum.
"I am fucked," she said.
