When the knife stabbed her shoulders... Matthew jolted up. His heart raced as his eyes darted around his room. She was in danger, he thought to himself.
When the knife made its way inside her flesh, he growled. The wolf inside him howled.
"Master?" Simon, his trusted aide must have felt his anxiety as he barged into the room, concern apparent in his eyes.
"Where is she?"
"Our— Our people— I just found their bodies."
Matthew’s eyes widened.
"Another Lycan killed them." Simon added. "It must be— "
"Drigo..." Matthew walked out of his office and Simon immediately followed after his sire. "Find her."
"We lost our people as soon as she arrived at her house." Simon said. "Sire? Where are you— " Before Drigo could finish his words, Matthew vanished, his body turning into a blur. ƒreewebɳovel.com
Ava was endangered.
And his wolf, wanted to come out.
....
Drigo leaned back, a smirk apparent on his face as he held the woman’s head, guiding her as she pleasured him.
Seeing that witch’s forest green eyes somehow awakened something inside him. He couldn’t help it. He wanted to tear her clothes apart, make her submit, make her beg for him to fuck her.
He had seen her pictures from the investigation that he did. He had seen her grow up from a cute little child in the orphanage to a fiery teenager and into the stunning adult she was now.
"Good... right there..." he mumbled, the thought of her only made him harder. "Right there... Ava..."
The woman before him froze but soon ignored the fact that he called her by the wrong name. Uncaring, she took his full length, gagging as his dxck ravaged her throat.
The thought of Ava taking him in her fiery mouth made him writhe in pleasure. He closed his eyes as ripples of his orgasm were about to burst inside Ava’s mouth.
But just before his release, the door of his private room opened with a loud bang.
"What the hell did you do?" Matthew barked as he barged in.
"What— "
Drigo’s eyes widened when Matthew appeared in front of him. Without waiting for him to say anything, Matthew grabbed him by his neck, easily lifting him up in the air like he was a toy.
The woman before Drigo screamed when Matthew threw his brother towards the door. The impact broke the wooden entrance in smithereens.
"Matt! Fuck! What the hell are you doing?"
"What did you do?"
Drigo wiped the blood that trickled down his lips. He scowled as he struggled to get up.
"What the hell are you— "
"Answer me!" Matthew growled as he disappeared and appeared next to Drigo in seconds. Another bang echoed.
This time, Drigo’s body hit the bed. Without waiting for him to say a word, Matthew straddled his older brother, his hand wrapped against Drigo’s neck.
"Answer me!"
"What the hell are you talking about!?" Drigo asked, confused and groggy from hitting his head not just once but fucking twice!
Matthew’s strength surprised him. Who would have thought that he wouldn’t even have the chance to fight against him?
"Ava! What did you do to her?"
"I gave Ava an invite! It’s normal that I give her an— " Drigo coughed when Matthew suddenly punched his jaw. The sound of his fist against his skin echoed inside the room.
"Fuck!" Drigo felt his jaw crack from the punch. "Matthew! What the hell... I just gave her an invite! I didn’t even touch her!" The insanity in Matthew’s eyes was enough to make him panic. His heart raced, his body felt like it wanted to crawl and kiss Matthew’s feet. It was the aura of an Alpha!
Something that Matthew shouldn’t possess, considering he was not the King— yet.
Matthew clenched his jaw, his grip tightened at his brother’s neck.
"Don’t you call her by her name," A golden hue glinted in Matthew’s eyes. Soon, the once’s silver gray orbs slowly turned golden.
"Wolf— " Drigo struggled to speak. Without a mate, Matthew won’t be able to control his wolf once he transforms into one. "Calm down brother! I— cough— I didn’t even touch a strand of her hair! Cough!" While he was older by almost a hundred years, Drigo was aware that once Matthew transforms into his wolf, Drigo would end up dead.
There was no surviving an angry Alpha wolf. Not even Elizabeth would be able to save him!
"Calm the fuck down! Matthew! What the hell are you doing to your own brother?" It was Elizabeth. Her appearance immediately made Drigo sigh in relief. Just what the hell took her so long to come? Drigo silently blamed the witch.
Seeing Drigo being pinned down by a Lycan much younger than him, Elizabeth frowned. But her eyes almost dropped out of it’s socket when she saw the now destroyed room. She lifted her hand, about to cast a spell when Matthew’s golden eyes turned towards her.
"A witch..." A voice that didn’t sound like Matthew said. It was low, dangerous and full of malice.
Elizabeth’s eyes widdened when Matthew calmly got up and threw his brother towards the dresser as if the man didn’t weigh two hundred fucking pound!
"It’s been so long since... I’ve killed one." Matthew’s voice was so low, it immediately made Elizabeth shiver, fear hummed in her blood.
"You— You are not Matthew..." Elizabeth blurted, her face losing its usual tint. "You— "
"Elizabeth what the hell are you doing! Do something... a protective spell or something!!" Drigo’s panicked voice made Elizabeth realize the danger they were in. She immediately casted a shield, something that would stop the wolf from approaching Drigo. Her priority right now was to keep Drigo safe.
"Naive," Matthew uttered when suddenly he appeared in front of Elizabeth. Everything that happened next was hazy, a mixture of motion and blur as Elizabeth felt her body get hit. She flew a few meters back and hit the hard floor. She coughed up a mouthful of blood, her face as white as a sheet of paper. She felt her body shake, unable to do anything as Matthew once again appeared in front of her, his eyes laced with bloodlust.
"Sire! Please stop!"
Elizabeth heard before her body hit the now destroyed canopied bed. She vomited another mouthful of blood, her gaze turning hazy, blurry. Pain! It felt like her body was breaking apart.
"Sire! It’s Simon. Sir Drigo didn’t touch Miss Ava... we... we found her."
Despite her weak body, Elizabeth stilled when Matthew’s gaze turned towards Drigo. If Drigo dies then Elizabeth would...
The thought made her shudder in fear.
"Sire please... Sir Drigo is still your brother. Please..." Simon pleaded, his voice shook mildly when Matthew’s gaze finally turned towards him.
"Speak!" Matthew uttered. The pressure that Matthew emitted almost made Simon faint. He steeled himself as he kneeled and lowered his head.
"The tracker." Simon tried to catch his breath. "She activated it. She’s in Leutia Range, just a few miles away from Anchorage."
Matthew’s arrogant gaze turned towards his wounded brother and Elizabeth. Then he snorted. "Next time... you won’t be as lucky," he uttered in a low, dangerous tone.
