"But what can we do about it!?" Alisha Chen, another priestess asked. "She is set to marry the King of the Lycans."
"The Lycans did some horrible things to the witches! How dare she marry someone of their kind!?"
"I don’t think the others would let her just marry the Lycan."
"Isn’t she someone from Trillium? Does she not have a pack?"
"She doesn’t. And she used to work for Trillium. Right now, she is no longer associated with them."
"Many people who have witnessed the declaration of the newly crowned King were able to feel the bond."
"But is that even possible? Lycan’s weakness is magick."
"Of course, it’s not! How could a Lycan whose weakness is magick be a mate to someone with magick!?"
"Exactly! But it seems that the other Lycans have accepted it."

The sound of the fire crackling from the fireplace filled the study of the Priestess of the Moonlight Coven in Greenland. She looked at the letter that she received. It was a wedding invitation and an announcement that the new Queen of Lycans will marry the new King.
However, the woman named Ava Woods was introduced as a witch.
The Priestess frowned, wondering if she had read the right thing. At one point, she wondered if this was some sort of secret message that she needed to solve with magick to reveal the real message.
How could this happen? She thought inwardly.
"Priestess... The priestess of the Shadow Coven wanted to talk. Shall I connect — "
"No need. Tell her. I have received the same news. And that I will be calling for an assembly. All witches in Greenland are required to join us."
"Priestess, did something happen?"
The Priestess narrowed her eyes.
"Yes," she said. "It seems that there will be a big shift very soon."
The Lycans did such an unforgivable thing to the witches during the Salem witch hunt. Because of them, the witches suffered great casualties and it took a long time to recover. How could one of them betray them like this?
Even if this woman named Ava Woods had no coven, she is still a witch. How could she marry a Lycan and even become his Queen!?
That alone sounded preposterous.
The fact that she is even with a man who had been enslaving witches for centuries was enough to warrant her death!
He narrowed at the invitation.
The shifters and the witches had been at war for years. However, because of the alliance and the peace treaty, everyone was forced to back down and prevent humans from knowing the truth about the supernatural world.
But this marriage is going to change everything.
"Priestess, I have already informed them about the assembly."
"Good. Now prepare yourself, we are going to the Lycan Plane soon."
"But what if this is a trap?"
"A trap?" the Priestess snorted. "No. They are too smart to make a trap like this." Moreover, she will personally ask her other sisters to come with her to demand an explanation from the Lycan Council.
The witch shall be punished and once the Lycan refuse...
A war will definitely happen.

"A witch and a Lycan?" the Shaman who read the invitation sent by the Lycans smiled. He rested his chin on the back of his palm and looked at the woman in front of him. "Perhaps, this was a scheme. Did the Lycans want a war that bad? Those people had been hiding for so long, I honestly thought all of them died. It seems that they are still the Lycans that I knew."
He then looked at one of his Priestess.
"Let us see what they are up to."
"Your excellency?"
"We are going to the Lycan’s Plane," he declared.

"A witch?" The Priestess of the Enchanted Sisters of Australia narrowed at the invitation and the letter that came with it. "Interesting."
"Priestess, shall we go ahead and contact the other members? This needs to be addressed as soon as possible," Zoey the Priestess, assistant who is a Sol Zodiphyte — someone who is a graduate of the school of witchcraft in Australia— said.
"The Lycans have enslaved witches in the past and in their plane. Moreover, they were the reasons why humans hunted us for years. Our sisters— "
"Zoey," the Priestess interrupted her. She held the letter and then used a fire spell to burn it. "We are not going to do anything about it."
"But Priestess something like this warrants death! How could we let a witch marry a Lycan Prince!? This woman might not have a coven but she clearly knew the hatred between us the and Lycans. She’s disrespecting all of the departed witches who died during the Salem hunt!"
The Priestess only smiled. Then she shook her head.
"The world is chaotic as it is. There is no need for us to get involved."
"But— "
"Did you really think that Lycans would send out news like this if they are not prepared for a war?"
"A war?"
"The Lycans have a very complicated system. I don’t want our coven to get involved in something like this. Since they wanted to marry each other, let them." The Priestess shrugged. If this is a scheme to break the peace then the Lycans must have an elaborate plan for everything.
That means, reacting to their news wouldn’t do anyone any good. The Priestess smiled at the younger witch. As someone who had lived for more than a hundred years, the Priestess understood Zoey’s hatred towards the Lycans and all shifters.
However, the Priestess isn’t going to react based solely on emotions. The Lycans are considered the King of all Shifters for a reason and she didn’t want her own Coven to find out what that reason is.
