Chapter 465: Afliusium 4

"You could do that?" Drigo asked her, his face paling when he realized that Ava could choose to send someone out of the plane.

"I can." But that isn’t the focus right now. She and the others immediately went to where the explosion happened. Just as she expected, the Afliusium affected a lot of people. Both witches and shifters are injured.

"Why are they showing this now?" Jude couldn’t help but ask. "I need to go back to Trillium and make sure that they know about this."

"Drigo send some Lycans with him," Ava uttered.

"What do you mean?" freewebnovel-cσ๓

"KEEPERS must have done this inside Trillium’s base," The Shaman answered. "But I am also curious to know why they would suddenly announce such an attack inside this plane. What do they want?"

"What happened?" Matthew suddenly appeared next to Ava. "I felt something was wrong." He looked at where the explosion happened. His face immediately turned dark.

"Afliusium?" he asked.

"Yes."

"How?"

"We don’t have anything that could detect Afliusium," the Shaman said. "And because of its nature, a witch cannot detect it."

"So we cannot use magick," Jude chimed in. "If that’s the case then... wouldn’t it be more difficult for the supernaturals to avoid it?"

"It will be," Ava said. "Especially in the outside world. This plane is much safer," she could try to create some sort of detection system inside this plane but... that would mean she couldn’t leave it. After all, the plane is connected to her.

The fact that witches cannot detect this substance is indeed very dangerous. What was making this harder was that the influx of people coming every single day is increasing! Someone with malice could easily hide the substance and then let it explode once they are in.

"After the reveal, it seems that many supernaturals are going to come here to be safe. Shifters and witches with kids will surely come here to keep their family safer from the humans." Jude said. "Don’t you think the timing is just— "

"It was that man," Ava said. "They must have given the humans those Afliusium." After she buried the man in this plane. That was the only explanation that she could come up with.

They wanted the humans to take care of the supernaturals.

But why now?

Those people had been very patient for years!

Ava refused to believe that the only trigger was that man.

Something else must have happened!

...........

When Jude and the rest arrived at the base, they immediately sensed the different and somewhat dangerous vibe around the building.

"What happened?" Jude asked a security guard standing nearby. There was a crowd of people lining up outside of Trillium. To Jude, this was a very unusual scene. In fact, he immediately wondered if he was transported to a different building.

"Sir..." the guard bowed. "We have some problems. Just a few minutes ago, the North Koreans revealed the liquid that could kill supernaturals. Some extremist groups from the middle east posted some videos telling everyone that they are now going to target all the supernaturals. These are Alphas and Priestesses from the US. They wanted to talk to the head, wanting to know what are their plans. Many of them wanted access to the Lycan’s Plane. I heard that this is just a small number of people who wanted to talk to the higher-ups. The other branches are also full of people."

"Get them away from this place," Jude instructed.

"What?"

"I said, get them away from this place!" Jude’s heart started drumming against his chest. He could feel it. People call it an instinct and he, as a werelion had one of the strongest instincts.

"You— get away— get away from this place! Get away from the building!" Jude said as he ran inside the lobby. Hearing this, a lot of people had various reactions.

"Why would you want us to leave? We came here for answers!"

"I thought it was Trillium’s job to keep us safe?"

"We want answers!"

"What are your plans for us!?"

"Are you going to abandon us?"

"Did he just tell us to leave?"

"Isn’t that a bit too much!?"

"Why would Trillium want us to leave!?"

"Isn’t he Mr. Caro?"

"Mr. Caro it’s your duty to help us instead..."

However, Jude remained unfazed. He knew that something is going to happen.

"Leave this place! Now!" Jude said.

"Jude calm down... you should calm down." Francheska uttered.

"No. They need to leave! This place... something will happen soon!"

Just as Jude said this, a loud explosion echoed outside of the building. Then chaos ensued.

..............

"What?" Matthew’s face darkened when he heard the news from Drigo. "Where is she now?" He shouldn’t care about other people aside from Ava but he knew that the news would surely upset Ava. He got up from his chair and followed Drigo who just told him that an explosion happened outside of Trillium and it killed a few people and injured a lot.

Francheska and Jude were insured as well as they were standing in the lobby when the explosion happen.

"How are you doing?" Matthew asked his sister who was lying on the bed. She was conscious but the wound on his arm aren’t showing signs of healing.

"Hurts like someone burned my skin from the inside. But that was just a couple of minutes after I was hit by the bomb." Francheska shrugged and sat down.

"It won’t heal," Francheska said. "It doesn’t hurt but it looked like a burn and I don’t like it."

Lycans have natural healing capabilities. But for some reason, Afliusium prevents them from healing. Because of this, the witches cannot perform healing magick on the wounds as well as magick doesn’t work on Afliusium.

"This is alarming," Drigo uttered. "The explosion killed a lot of people. By now, the news must have already spread on the Realm and inside this plane. It created massive panic from everyone."

In response, Matthew narrowed.

"So, they really wanted to use the humans against the supernatural," he said.

SOUTH POLE

"Is everything ready?" Aliah asked one of her most trusted lab scientists that had been studying the human DNA and the DNA of the supernaturals as well as Aliah’s and her people. Project Aliah— as she calls it, had succeeded because of this man.

Mr. Herbert.

The balding man was already in his sixties. Despite being old and frail, the man still had a very sharp mind.

"Very much so, your grace," the old man answered.

"Herbert, you should stop calling me like that."

"You are a descendant of a god. Calling you by your name is disrespectful enough.

Aliah smirked.

"It seems that the sale of the bullets is going well? How many countries wanted Afliusium bullets now?" she asked.

"After they saw the last video of a werewolf killing a child, twenty countries. As usual, the USA didn’t say a word. They only wanted to mediate and said that peace can still be achieved. China and Russia already announced that they are taking measures to keep humans safe."

"That’s it? Twenty isn’t a lot." She expected more! Humans are selfish and jealous creatures. How could they allow other species to thrive with them? It is only natural for them to be jealous of the fact that supernaturals are more powerful than them.

Because of this, she expected more countries to buy the bullets that they made with Afliusium.

"It seems that many third world countries aren’t doing anything simply because the bullets are too expensive and Trillium had been doing their best to try and suppress the news.

"Suppress the news?" What foolishness is that?

"How could Trillium still try to suppress the news now that Afliusium has already been revealed to them?"

"Your grace, this is going to be a very long process. I believe that the rest of the supernatural world is going to move to that plane."

"It’s good," Aliah said. The faster it is for them to move, the better is it for Aliah to kill every one of those cockroaches.

"What about the bodies that we have so far? The summoning has been showing some good results no?" Summoning an angel required a much more complicated process. However, Aliah forcefully summon other creatures of the other realms this time.

To create an army, she decided to summon those creatures or at least a lesser version of them. The bodies that they have now shouldn’t have any problems acting as the vessel of these creatures.

"We have eight successful summonings so far. All of them are from the nightmare realms."

"Good... release them to each continent."

The old man smiled at her. "All of them?"

"Yes, is there a problem?" she asked.

"No. It’s just that... I am so excited to see how they perform in front of other people."

Aliah smirked as well. One thing that she liked about Mr. Herbert is the fact that he didn’t care about his fellow humans and always treat everything as part of his experiments.

He wouldn’t care if this world will burn as long as he gets to watch and study the result afterward.
