"Hey! Who are you? Why are you all alone here?" the fairy asked as she walked toward the immortal.
The immortal didn't speak, but a strange smile appeared on his lips.
Wang Yao climbed to where the fairy had been, patted the horns of the Cloud-Ascending Beast, and whispered, "Lower it a bit, it's too high to jump."
Just then, the immortal suddenly leaped up and struck the fairy with a heavy palm. The fairy was clearly prepared, and a pink light suddenly burst forth from her fingertip. With a loud "bang," the leaping immortal fell heavily backward.
"Little Wang, come down quickly! This is the essence! The essence!" Unexpectedly, the fairy was not pleased but alarmed after her successful attack, and she cried out in a shrill voice.
As Wang Yao gently patted the horns, the Cloud-Ascending Beast descended again. Hearing the fairy's call, Wang Yao was startled. Without caring whether he would fall, he leaped off the Cloud-Ascending Beast's back and landed firmly on the ground without feeling any impact at all.
He was slightly taken aback, then realized that the "good guy" was at work again. Without saying a word, he labeled himself a "good guy" again, and then focused his attention on the immortal who had fallen to the ground and was slowly getting up.
He had seen You Junda who was possessed by a spirit, and found that this immortal was different from You Junda. After being possessed by a spirit, You Junda became extremely thin, almost like a piece of paper.
The immortal's physique did not change much; if the fairy maiden hadn't called out to him, he wouldn't have been able to tell that this guy was any different from the other immortals.
"Hurry and deal with him! Hurry and deal with him!" The fairy pointed at the immortal who was slowly rising up and shouted to Wang Yao.
"How do we deal with it?" Wang Yao asked in astonishment.
"How would I know? Aren't you the God of Love?" the fairy said matter-of-factly.
