As soon as he sat down, he felt his body suddenly sink down, his vision went dark, and a muddy, fishy smell hit him.
"Guests in position, rest cabins sealed!" A sudden shout rang out, and Wang Yao felt a few red lights appear around him, swirling around him in all directions. He looked closely and was astonished to find that a huge space had been carved out underground.
Below us was a long tunnel, roughly the width of an eight-lane highway, and more than two meters high. In short, an adult standing upright wouldn't bump their head.
Those tiny red lights were actually children with fluttering wings. Each of them had a large light bulb stuck in the back of their pants, radiating red light from their buttocks. This made the dark underground space around Wang Yao relatively bright.
Wang Yao also noticed some wriggling figures on the ceiling of the underground space not far from him, but they were too far away and the light was not very good, so he couldn't see what they were.

He reached out and touched the carriage wall; it was soft to the touch, like satin or gauze.
"Seale the windproof compartment!" Another shout rang out, and the winged children seemed to hear the command, bustling about again. Wang Yao discovered that their work wasn't actually complicated; they simply pulled up a transparent, gauze-like object from one side of the carriage and covered themselves with it.
"Control facilities and entertainment facilities in place." The shout rang out again, and several children with flapping wings crawled in. After a few fumbling sounds on the ground, a huge screen was erected at the front of the carriage.
